Yo boogie! It’s a good day whenever you post! Puts me in a cozy mood! I personally recommend Otherworldly Izakaya Nobu. It’s extremely underrated and not well known. But it’s a very cozy medieval manga about a Japanese pub in Europe. I think it’s right up your alley.
I'll never understand how people can do their hobby consistently. Anything that requires that level of commitment is like a chore to me. I just binge and hiatus.
Boogie, to be honest I was having sort of a bad day and this upload just gave me something to look forward to and enjoy a meal with. Thank you for the cozy vibes.
I’ve been struggling reading my current books lately because I’ve been busy with college, and now I’m taking a summer class. I only listen to my audio book because it’s easy to do task and listen, I want to go back and catch up, I think I need to reduce my screen time 😅 that takes most of my free time instead of reading
me binge reading series from 7pm-4am😅once im hooked i cant put them down lol, though i have gone on a recent anime slump ever since i switched to manga, cant even sit through an episode without getting distracted or not bother finishing it.
Magus of the Library is such a good read! And it's such a sleeper series. The art and world building is exquisite 😩 Here's hoping you give it another solid chance at reading because it really is such a treasure. What a cozy vibe video!
I love Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You! It is such a good story. I have the 4 volumes that are out in Japanese and can't wait for the next chapters and volumes. I am also reading Blue Box now too. But not as far as you yet though. But should get there soon. The rom series that I am loving right now is Hokkaido Gals are Super Adorable. Not sure if English volumes are out for it yet but maybe it will be out on some of the apps. If it is, please give it a try. I was hooked after the first few chapters. Such a cute story.
Hey boogie this is my first video in a long time. First I hope you are well and congratulations on the move. I fell out of love with manga a while back due to a toxic work colleague who would make fun of me for reading manga. It has upset me for a while but seeing this video has shown me that everyone can go through slumps. I am going to get back into manga and not worry about one persons opinion. Again love the channel 😁
LOVED this video. Been struggling with a recent reading slump myself. This was very insightful. Also, WE NEED a compilation video of boogie and Michelle bloopers 😭❤️
YES BLUE BOX MENTIONED!! Just started reading it 2 weeks ago and I need to get it physically. I love the motivation behind Taiki's pracatce and goals, acctually is so relatable.
I think we've all been there. Life can be overwhelming. Especially when your starting out. But remember reading is a short escape into a world we cannot walk in real life. Also if you start finding yourself reading books to try to get thru, putting a number to how many you have to read, then your reading the wrong stories, or you have to change that mind set. When this happens to me I stop trying to keep up with what's new and go back to something old school I always wanted read.
I LOVED Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You too! I highly recommend Yona of the Dawn!! 🙌🏼 I was in a reading slump recently as well but I’m happy to be out of the slump too!!
Cannot wait to checkout Smoking behind the Supermarket with you. Since i started to read manga like 4 years ago, Slice of Life was always my favorite sub-genre. Thanks for your video! 😊
Hey Boogie, I love your videos. I always felt bad about not reading my manga as much as I would like to. I’m glad to see that I am not alone with this problem. This video has reminded me to pick up some volumes off my shelf!
I say this a lot but your care and passion is really shining through in this vlog, and it's a joy to watch even if I can painfully relate to the reading slump. I also recently read through Smoking Behind the Supermarket vol 1 too, really looking forward to that second volume dropping next week. Keep up the amazing work man!
Boogie! Love the videos! Keep up the great work and keep reading! By the way you and Michelle are adorable! I bought the risers you recommended to me they work great thank you again! Have some recommendations for you!! Call of the night, the dangers in my heart, shangri la frontier! So so good all thee above!
Michelle is just so honest, love her 😂❤ I like the new setup with the plants, it looks so cozy. Can’t wait to have the first manga reaction stream from here! 😊
I feel you... been struggling with reading and adulting at the same time. I found out that most of my urge to go through my TBR list ASAP came from the amount of manga I was buying; It's unsettling not to be up to speed with some titles, but I decided to cut back and buy most of them only once they're finished, as i go through my backlog in the meantime. Realized that as the industry is getting more and more popular, i started buying way more than reading, and that doesn't make too much sense to me anymore.. Ofc some titles like one piece HAVE to be followed up regularly haha. but as long as it's around 15 volumes or shorter, specially if it is not ongoing, to me right now it just makes more sense to wait and purchase a box, or second hand completed once i have time to read
If you're looking for romance recs . . I read Sweat and Soap not too long back and it turned out to be really great! It started as a spicy one-shot but evolves into a really wholesome romance where the couple really respect and love one another. It doesn't fall into the annoying tropes of other romance series but by that same virtue it may not be dramatic enough for some of y'all.
I've been going through manga and anime burnout for the better part of 18 months I want to say and it honestly bums me out that I don't have that same excitement for buying new volumes
I like reading on my iPad. Though I will always prefer physical, an iPad specifically an iPad Air is a good alternative for those days it’s more convenient to read digitally.
I have tried to use ipads for reading multiple times but it would give me terrible headaches so i got an android eink tablet and it's way better i can read on whatever platform i want still but i dont get eye strain nearly as bad.
This is my first video so idk if you have to do tons of manga reviews for the channel but for others if you dont feel like reading DONT. Its supposed to be a fun hobby! Sometimes I go weeks without reading besides the stuff I keep up with weekly but then a day comes where it feels fun again or I find a good manga where I stay up til 3am reading.
Hi everyone :) I have important sh!t to do in this week The question is: Does anime and manga make people aggressive? I JUST NEED A QUICK ANSWER FROM MANY PEOPLE (All genres, types etc etc)
@@BoogieSnacks Daemons of the shadow realm (Yomi no Tsugai) looks really promising! Having read Silver Spoon the art will be pretty familiar to you also :D (yup this is a repost xD )
