I wonder if the story will continue in 2025. I am sure that, should the creative team at BigHit choose to do so, they may release another book in 'The Notes' series to continue the storyline, but it could become increasingly difficult to maintain the originality and emotion the HYYH series has as the BTS members age and want to explore the topic of youth in different, more age-appropriate ways. They always present us albums that align with their real lives; Wings = temptation of adulthood, MOTS = artistic life crisis. I really can't wait until 2025!

I've read the notes and other material before but this really summed it up!!! Thanks a lot, it also helped since I'm watching the new drama, even if it's an adaptation so they will probably change some things, but they're doing a good job with the story and the actors are great. Anyways, great video, i feel like BTS themselves would love it too lolll

This is way long over due! Short and concise information,but very important headings. Especially that this is all just a story,no matter what other connections to the boys it might seem to have,it is a fictional storyline. So now,one can decide if they want to do a deep dive into the whole HYYH Universe. Thank you ,truly for this. I'll just bet it was difficult to keep this as short as you did,huh? @@MarilynPF Thanks, we're glad we could help! "HYYH" stands for the Korean term "Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa," which translates as "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life." HYYH has become a synonym for the BU because the BU formally kicked off at the beginning of the HYYH era.

Thank you so much for making this video. The BU is complex, and this was a very helpful overview/summary. I wish I was in the room at Big Hit when this storyline was developed - it would have been fascinating to watch the story unfold in the minds of the creative staff/writers.

So are the members the writers of the story lines? It is so dark!!! Almost like they are pouring all possible bad karma into this story to ward it off from anything bad happening to BTS. Their star really took off when I need U came out …the same time the BU was started. Hmmm. Thank you so much for doing this!!!

The members don't write every scene, but they designed their characters and storylines. It's not clear how much hands-on involvement they have these days since, as you said, their star has taken off. The funny thing is, all the way back in the School era, they had laid the foundation for events that wouldn't take place until the Map of the Soul era. For instance, you can see the locked cabinet in the storage room in a VCR for BTS Begins! So BTS were planning for a very long career from the beginning.
