05:02 Traditional story of the 4 sights before Prince Siddharta left home is not found in Early Buddhist Text. However, a similar account of the 4 sights can be found in DN 14 for the previous Buddha Vipassi. Like MN 123, DN 14 is mythological in nature. The expansion of the 4 sights may probably be expanded to Prince Siddharta by later text.

MN 49 is weird. How could, Mara, a deva from kama loka go to Brahmaloka and possess a member of Brahmaloka?

And the Monastics ask why we don't have Samvega when the Suttas and the world are confusing and cryptic

@@fingerprint5511 Yes, certain suttas are indeed cryptic. But that's beside the points. They are other suttas which are very clear and concise. If the goal is to give rise to samvega, there are suttas in Samyutta Nikaya 15 which fit that purpose.

good q. yes this is something that has been brought up mentioned by other teachers as well. I remember it being mentioned that Mara does have the capability to influence the lower Brahma realms in addition to Kama loka realms that are under him. However, much higher realms like Suddhawaasa where Non-returns are reborn is completely out of his reach.

No Actually; I'm Really Really Good! I think we should stop asking people in general how they are, because most people do not care. They do not want to hear something negative so we are forced to lie. If our friends or workmates ask.. we are now getting as scared to tell them as we were 50years ago.. Not just due to judgement, but that they will tell everyone else behind our backs and online (meaning almost everyone we know.) we cant talk to anyone in general through fear of being drugged, institutionalised, parasites from the system interfering trying to control our assets, children, and lives.. Even Monastaries are riddled with parasites and Nunaries jealous hateful users. I think the term how are you, is becoming dangerous. So sad for us all. Such a waste, all the efforts of great Masters, activists and so many others.. to just end up with this.. Manipulative, sterile and drug ruined existence, where the system around the world is being used to destroy any kind, decent, straight, person for any reason. Being kind is getting us killed, we need some new teachings.
