The Busiest Railway Station ! Incredible Clapham Junction (London) at peak time

If you do not know you will surely discover the busiest station for daily rail traffic in Britain & in Europe (and possibly also in the world !), this is Clapham Junction at London.
At peak time this is crazy (one train every 12 seconds !) and I went to film for Dotaku Channel !
Voici le plus gros spot d'Angleterre ainsi qu'en Europe (probablement du Monde aussi !), c'est Clapham Junction à Londres.
A l'heure de pointe du matin il y a un train toutes les 12 secondes !!! environ 180 à 200 trains par heure, c'est de la folie. J'y suis allé filmer cet incroyable trafic ferroviaire pour vous. Pas un instant je n'avais pas de train devant mes yeux !

I went to the signal control centre for CJ. It was insanely busy looking more like the stock exchange.

Disclaimer for alot of people who don’t understand: this is the busiest junction in europe, not the busiest station, that would be kings cross. Geat video either way, love the camera shots!👍

Isnt waterloo the busiest station in terms of passengers? Kings Cross always is pretty calm in my eyes.

You're talking about passengers. Clapham junction is far busier by number of trains.

They were both run by Stagegroup back then when they had This livery until FirstGroup took over the South Western Franchise and became South Western Railway SWR and Abellio took over the East Midlands Franchise and recently became East Midlands Railway EMR when the trains started changing into their new livery afterwards.

There is also a thing called "not enough money" and "private companies that don't do a great job" but I must agree that generally I quite like the older trains, even if they look like they are from 1956.

Wow nice sunrise or sunset the 455 has a new vossloh motor however you pronounce it and the class 442 ex South West train is now the new ex South West train again but pronounced South western train

It's a very nice station, and good for watching trains. Your angles of photography and editing are amazing. However, I believe Shinjuku is not only the busiest for passengers but also trains. But I'll need to do my research on that one.

Oui à la base je suis plus photographe que vidéaste. Je travaille mes plans comme des photos, la lumière, le cadrage, l'angle de vue sont primordiaux. Ensuite en vidéo c'est simple, si l'objet filmé est en mouvement tu ne bouges pas. Et au contraire si l'objet filmé est fixe là c'est toi qui bouge, zoom ou déplacement.

Class 455/7 have a trailer car from a Class 508. The 508 started working from Waterloo as a 4 car train. When they were transferred to Liverpool the trailer car was removed.

Yes. All 455/7s have an ‘extra’ PEP coach from the 508s when they used to run out of Waterloo

I'm not sure about that. The area covered by Clapham junction is huge. Clapham also has a lot more trains than Waterloo.

Blake McNamara Yes except for the class 158 and 159 which are diesel multiple units built in 1992/3 to replace loco hauled stock

Is this mainly Underground, 'Overground', and/or other suburban commuter trains, or a mix of all three? Is there a literal underground station/line(s) at this location also?

No, this is all overground. Clapham Junction is the most busiest interchange in the UK or London.

there's no clapham junction tube station but the overground does stop there, closest tube station is clapham common if im not mistaken

The term "Britain's busiest station" is misleading. In terms of passengers, London Waterloo is busier, but in terms of number of trains calling at or passing through the station it is the busiest. Apparently around 180 per hour pass through of which 117 stop at the station, its function being more that of an interchange rather than a destination

London Waterloo Clapham Junction London bridge London charing Cross Liverpool Street Station London St.Pancras International Vauxhall East Croydon -- OUTER LONDON -- Portsmouth Harbour SouthHampton Guilford Woking Brighton Eastbourne I hope you know these busy stations.
