Isn't the whole point of VR is actual physical motions of swinging swords? Maybe for VR mods that doesn't support 6 DoF (like cyberpunk) or it is good for fly sims but for actual VR games - I don't think so.

I would say it depends on preference The C-Infinity helps with motion sickness too, compared to joysticks. Don't know how I would explain it, but I did get less dizzy.

Taylor the spider truly is the greatest artist this generation has known... Too bad she had to meet a wild Nariva on her path! The little victory dance at 9:37 should be turned into a gif, it made my day that much better! Also, if I had a septim for every time you flip off an NPC in this video, I'd have 2 septims. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice...

I’m pretty confused by the bit of kit. I thought it was going to be something you walk on to move in game. Seems like an excessive bit of kit to end up ultimately just use a controller to move. 😊

It is indeed essentially a bigger controller, but it is slightly more intuitive to push on the handle than a joystick. And the fact that turning irl makes you turn in game increases immersion too

@@NarivaTV "Turning IRL makes you turn in game" isn't that just the VR headset itself though, nothing to do with the kit... ?? Fair play to getting a sponsor, but I really dont understand what they are trying to do with this product lol? The quest controllers look more immersive than using that kit. My thought is they started out thinking it would have a treadmill type immersive walking control, but then realised it wasn't going to work, or would cost too much, so repurposed it as some kind of weird stability/support to lean on while playing VR games... I have a Quest 2, but never play it due to motion sickness. I found pretending to walk when using my quest controller to move made it slightly better, so was hoping more places would bring out affordable treadmill type products. Would love to play Skyrim in VR, but just makes me too sick. Love your content btw. Not trying to be too negative about the product, I'm just not really sure what the purpose of it is? 😕

@@caffs7777 Well, when you turn using only a Quest 2, you're simply turning your head in-game and not the body. When I turn the backplate of the C-infinity, the character also turns his body. The device itself offers a comfortable way to stand while playing VR. This helps reduce motion sickness since you're not moving as much as you would without it and the controls are intuitive. I am indeed biased since they did sponsor this video, but I'm not getting paid for vouching for them in the comments. It's definitely a luxury product and it's not for everybody, but people who want to spend a long time playing VR games would benefit for it.
