@@SirBJH good point, there’s always somebody faster out there, C6Z is one of my favorite cars, and I’m a Chevy guy to the core, but I can appreciate any make that’s engineered well and built/ modded well, tbh I would love to see a rematch between these 2 cars, I ve seen this M4 kill a Plaid, and something else fast I can’t remember right now, I kinda suspect he just didn’t get a good launch, didn’t brake boost right, spun, something. It really is an awesome setup the way it’s tuned to step up the power in each gear to optimize traction, kinda a head scratcher as to what happened here, that Z is strong but I think it could go the other way if they run it back.

And no turbo lag either. That setup is no joke.

That M4 is SLOWWWW compared to that Vet and that M4 was quoted to make 1200 WHP. Son were not in the same ball park. Thats like saying once upon a time you owned a honda civic and you later watched a youtube video that said it will beat a telsa plaid. Sure its "capable" after investing about $50,000 into the build. "Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that he just came into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS, and a Motec system exhaust." 🤷‍♂🤣😭😭😭

@@EliteOnTheBeat u r super cap the only thing truly expensive is the turbo on zzp and the most expensive turbo isn’t even the recommended one it’s pretty simple to install most parts as well and u making comparisons to a old cts v is a bad comparison a better platform to that kind of 4 cylinder would be a 2.0 ats or camaro but guess what u can also use zzp to make that amount of hp and there’s a video of a fbo 2.0 camaro gapping a scat pack on this channel

My point was while the M4 big turbo was spooling, the Z06 was gone. The Z06 was geared and setup better for the race they did. I enjoy both of these vehicles and not biased to either one. My current fun car is a 950hp big turbo RS3, so I get out there a bit

The M4 should try brake boosting if he didn't couldn't tell or rolling antilag if available through software he uses to tune & maybe the outcome would be a little better than this but we're still talking about a H/C/I LS7 with Long Gears and weight reduction... So idk

@@drratt in the race vs the plaid you could hear this M4 using rolling anti lag. The problem is he just needs to throw more boost at it in 3rd gear. If the vette can put 750whp to the ground at 2900lbs the 3700lbs M4 should be able to hook with 900. Starting at ~770whp in 3rd gear is killing him.

The M4's turbo is a rather large turbo and the lag kills it on 60 rolls. A small bit of nitrous on the hit will fix that!

@@ericship8383 Doesn’t change the fact the Z06 put in work and made that M4 work. Just enjoy the race, hell it didn’t seem like he reacted late. Z06 is just pure N/A power and it’s manual so no waiting for turbos to spool or automatic to downshift if in automatic mode.

Yep, bmw was sleeping on that run. They both have raced the tesla plaid, z06 beat it by just a little whereas the M walked away from it easily. Rerun!!

AG said in another post that the BMW owner didn't want to do a rerun, because it would not have made a difference. The Vette owner was willing to do a rerun.

The z06 had done some changes since he last ran the plaid. Not astronomical differences but he's running better than when he ran the plaid.

@@AutoGlory he’s saying in this race but I’ll explain it.

The M4 walked the Tesla harder because the Tesla had already hit it’s too speed of 160 so it was stagnant in a sense. When the vette was passing the Tesla the Tesla was still accelerating hard just getting in the triple digits so the vette hard the harder challenge of passing him.

@@thepetrolman4879 answer me this. How did the M4 pass the Tesla at 140 when the Z06 was at 160 before he passed either one of them? If you watch closely you’ll see once the Z06 hits 160 and let’s off the Tesla is moving at around the same speed 155-160. By this time the Z06 started to decelerate and so did the Tesla and the M4 was still moving with a head full of steam which is why he passed them like he did.

Z06 gearing and 2800 lbs with a shit ton of displacement will do that haha. This Vette would curb stomp the plaid as well. M4 has turbo lag, regardless of brake boosting it'll never be the same as a big displacement hit to the throttle

@@johncena-hq1ti Yeah I just watched it, he still got out ahead instantly which is impressive, but every race is different, maybe hes running better now. Tesla's are pretty consistent as long as they have near full charge.

@@louiecarrigan821 BMW is definitely fast but it got beat up by a naturally aspirated car. Race was over. Obviously this vette is a little different than racing that Tesla plaid.

@@mongoose406 I mean they only ran one race. Would be interested to see them go again or two more times since the BMW was pulling hard on the Vette at the end. Sometimes you just don't have your best run, so that's why most guys go a couple times.

@@RthereNEusernames yeah I would like to see a couple runs too but I don't think the BMW had anything for the Z06 till they are up past 150 mph. Some good Turbo top end. Majority of these races are 40 or 60 to 130 mph.
