Describes the meal pattern requirements for breakfast, lunch/supper, and snack for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (OSCNP).Primarily focuses on the child meal pattern requirements. Each of the five food components (milk, meat/meat alternate, fruit, vegetable, and grain) are explored through pictures, interviews, and video footage in CACFP centers. Age groups and portion sizes are reviewed, and sugar requirements for cereal and yogurts are also discussed. Viewers can test their knowledge of the required food components for meals and snacks.
