The Calgary Stampede Parade opens the Calgary Stampede. We had so much fun watching the marching bands, cowboys and so many different nationalities walking the parade. Calgary Stampede has been held in Calgary for the last 106 years and it's a huge deal.

It is SO fun to participate in the Parade. I did it in 2017 and it was one of a kind experience.

thanks for the Stampede Parade video. I watched it live, on my tablet, on CTV on the internet. Your coverage was perfect, if you want an idea of what it was all about. Good color. Nice happy intro and closing. Can't wait to see the Stampede grounds through your lens! So excited for you and the family !!! YAHOO !!! ;)

What a wonderful day for the parade, just a bit too warm. I hope the weather holds for the 10 days, rain and hail can sure put an end to a fun time. So glad you're enjoying your first stampede, hope you get to see those fireworks, I hear they are great.

Calgary first-day attendance record this year at 122,403 going through the gate. Over 7000 more than last years record..o.O

First Name Lily I work at Chinook Centre in Starbucks beside Saks, so I’m inside a building too but I still enjoying serving to people who are inside the mall trying to avoid the parade lol

Okay, now you want candy ? Thank you for your answer But they told me life quality is better there more job opportunities ? And for snow is it really 9 months ?? What about chinook? Ian really confused I am thinking about the fact that Calgary is isolated!!

raniaj lrj 9 months you experience winter 3 for like a real hot summer , yeah there 's many chinooks in there and it gets soo hot sometimes in Summer .

Eventually you will either be in the two groups of Local people. You will either love the Stampede or some Locals will escape to get away from it.
