Just finished the video and man, I think I speak for everyone when I say you are honestly so entertaining I love all of your longer videos with your infectious laugh 😂
@@zzodysseuszz He wasn't just cut in half. He was pressed up against the ceiling by the blades with extreme pressure. If it split him in half, it was certainly more than Enough to crush any bones in his torso region beforehand. So on top of a Deep cut that draws a lot of blood, He was also crushed under the weight. When he drops to the ground, You can see Jacob Slowly breathing his last gasps of life, before he goes still. Which adds an extra layer of disturbing Realism. It also shows that Jacob was still Alive for at least a few seconds after he got bisected. Imagine the pain of that. So jacob was: Cut in half by a large blade. Crushed under the weight of the blade as it tried to pass through his Sliced midsection, Enough to shatter bones along with cutting into his body. Alive long enough after to Take in a few breaths and experience Unholy amounts of pain before The blood loss gets to him and He stops breathing as the life leaves his Mangled corpse.
0:26 this is the EXACT problem with kingdom come deliverance. As soon as a duel becomes anything more than 1v1 the game just breaks; enemy ai freaks out, the lockout starts randomly swapping between targets and you can’t efficiently perform combos, animations start to glitch and you’ll see yourself teleporting to targets or targets teleporting to you, the game becomes unresponsive and the the games balancing goes out the window when you see yourself being stunlocked to death
More power to you on bitting the bullet and actually buying the game. The first time i saw a trailer for Calisto, i was sitting in vegas tired and sick but the commerical held my attention completely.
That moment with the forgetting to reload twice..... that brighten my day and kept me laughing!!! Honestly speaking I loved this game except for Ferris and yup I knew the gun changing mechanic would get someone in an panic 😅
I told myself the same thing. Wasn't gunna be bitch and play on easy then switch just for the achievement. Until I realized how disgusting the combat system was. Switched it to easy about a quarter way through the game and didn't look back
Oh man! That rage had me dying! I raged at that same spot but you went about that fight the wrong way! At the beginning of that fight I would run immediately towards the other side of the room and dispatch every single enemy with the spinning blades. You just gotta use the room traps to your advantage. Staying up on that balcony was the wrong play hahahahaha love your videos bro!
The part before entering the SHU with all the monsters is so funny 🤣 but the game really just wanted you to use the room to your advantage, like pick them up with the kinesis and throw them into the blades, but man this was so funny 😭
Glad I wasn't the only one who thought the intro was rushed! You get put into a hard labour prison and the next cutscene is literally the entire place in ruin with monsters running around. There's no build up lmao
I love the vids, It's funny seeing your reactions to either bad game designs or funny and spooky stuff. Plus I don't know if its me just being stupid or if others agree but you remind me of Crazy Dave with how you get close to the cam sometimes when something outrageous happens its just hilarious to me. No offense since I can see how it can be seen and taken as so, I just find it funny with how you react. But I do love the content it's always a joy to watch and your guides are awesome as well. I've used them and jeez is it so much easier with how you show and explain.
Did anyone actually have a hard time beating the game on Maximum difficulty? I found it to be really easy if you played it mainly using your melee and only using it for the “boss” battles and killing them before they mutate. This game really held your hand with the amount of health they throw out to you in the game lol
The absolutely op auto dodge really takes any bit of fear immediately out of the game and the arm breaker upgrade. Maximum security was absolutely free. Hardest enemy was the robot if you didn't get a good loop going with the hand cannon.
@@Jonathan-hd1wz most of the clips i saw people thought they were playing god of war lol saw one guy run uptoo a group then die and said the game was bad
“Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing over and over again, expecting shit to change.”-Vaas
Idk if it’s just me but I had no issues with the combat. I fully upgraded the baton and never looked back. There are multiple ways to go about fighting the same enemies and you just need to find what works best for you. My second play through I upgraded the grp and while it came in clutch for the bigger fights it didn’t feel as good as bashing them to death
For the dodge you can't do the same side more then once you have to alternate regularly left, right, left or right, left, right it doesn't care what direction the enemy is swinging
Your reactions to the death animations kill me! I’ll probably check this game out when it’s all patched up and the all the season pass dlc comes out. Hopefully the Dead Space remake will be good. I think that will hurt me more if it sucks because the OG Dead Space is one of my favourite games ever.
I'm watching this after I platinumed it, and after looking at the comments, did ppl really think the combat was hard/bad? I might gotten used to it but imo it was pretty straightforward and easy to understand, I'm guessing the more aggressive players didn't have enough patience when dodging lmao W game imo
18:50 this PERFECTLY sums up my feelings about this game. Dropped it about halfway through and cut my losses. At least Dead Space remake and RE4 were awesome, 2/3 isn’t bad.
I liked that there was no build up, games that take an hour of build up before shit actually happens are great for first playthroughs but annoying on other runs imo
I would argue that this game absolutely should've had the tense build up because this game has very little replay value currently with the lack of a new game plus option as well as no chapter select and for most people this game will be a one and done so by your logic if it's great for first time playthroughs it really should've been there
The horror in this game is just through some junpscares which unless ur not looking at ur screen are scary. The atmosphere is a bit creepy but not that scary
Didn’t the developers say there was going to be multiple paths to finish the game in a way your gameplay may be different from other players? They promised a lot and didn’t deliver on any of it. And as of writing this, they didn’t even start developing any of the content for the season pass which seems kinda weird. I wish I could delete this platinum off my account just so people won’t know I bought it. 😭
Did my playthroughs for the Platinum and I was relieved. Then I noticed some time later my 100% changed because they did that lame DLC trophy for New Game Plus. I went back and did it again to 100% it. Then I noticed some time later my 100% changed because they did that lame DLC trophy for hardcore mode. I stopped there and said "You ask a lot for being this garbage. No."
Something that has felt a bit cheap for me is that every single time an enemy rips your head up is the exact same way and the exact same model. For example that big dude that bites your head should fucking rip the entire thing off, it looks like it is breaking it from the base of the neck.
Was super disappointed with this game as most people were. I didn't even watch it on youtube or watch anyone elses reaction to anything cause the game seemed so boring imo. The dodge dodge hit combo for every encounter got old after the first 5. Glad you suffered through it and got the platinum though and im glad you made a video out of everybody cause you are hilarious and made it bearable to watch
Great as always dude! Well...since we're talking about Callisto I might as well re-post my opinion disguising as a review. WARNING: its a Bible: I had high hopes for this game seeing as the people working it created one of the best action horror games of all time. but I guess the 2 people they couldn't get back from the old Dead Space team are the writer and the combat designer... It feels like they've never played a video game with melee-focused combat in their lives. Why would you tie the ability to dodge to your character's facing direction, so that even if you can swing the camera around to see an attack, your character isn't able to turn fast enough to face the atack in order to dodge? Why would you have so much animation lock on everything including the dodge you have to lean so heavily on? Everything is slow and everything is cumbersome, for you, Why? Anybody playing would have noticed this the first time you're fighting Slim Jim in the prison and his buddy Fuckface shows up to join the fight, the game's combat falls apart the second you're facing more than one enemy. The depth of the combat boils down to searching for spiked walls littered throughout the game with no variety and sticking the enemies into it by using telekinesis. Its either that or whack them a bunch with the melee wich looks 10x better than it plays, God help you if there's 3 or more enemies. Dodge takes almost no skill since its just holding a direction UNLESS you try to time it then you get punished wich personally bugs me to no end they designed that way since I like skill-based things, you also get hit if you don't wait your "turn" since enemies will power through your melee hits when they decide to atack (wich might explain why some people are having difficulty in a combat thats as mindless as "hold a direction and wait for your turn", once you figure out you have no "agency" in the combat it becomes a simple "dodge and hit them with nothing in-between" with the ocasional complete meltdown of the combat system everytime there's 2 or more enemies. Since there's no invincibility frames to begin with you're gonna go from effortlessly taking no damage against one enemy, OR mindlessly sticking all of them into walls if there's more than 2 because of the reasons I mentioned above. Because of how dodge is designed there's barely any difference from one enemy type and another outside of how many strings of punches they do before you punish them and it all boils down to this: if you wait your turn they get stunned, if you don't they power through your strings and you get hit, even bosses are of no threat as long as they're alone, just as you expect from a horror game right? Enemy variety and boss variety is severely lacking and even if that wasn't the case because of how combat is designed at its very core, it makes no difference how many enemy types there are, even with the enemy "transformation" mechanic it still boils down to the same thing, crimson heads these are not. The game also desperately need a spacing tool, Jacob cannot run away from enemies without getting hit by them because of how slow he is, some enemies being faster than you is okay in these kinds of games but they made them all faster to the point if you try to space it , you get hit, it feels messy and poorly designed. Exploration is a key element of survival horror, because it opens up risk-rewards in a way that is meaningful to the horror aspects. Do you take the extra risk to explore a side path knowing that something may be lurking, or do you push into the unknown in the hopes of picking up resources/items to help you along the rest of your journey? It immediately creates tension, and having such a linear path with unrewarding exploration turns gameplay from a series of interesting decisions into a Disneyland ride with animatronics popping out from the walls which is what Callisto Protocol can frequently feel like (also this game has the most redundant Audio Logs I've seen in a long time). Autosave is also kinda spotty cause it loves to save before going through a vent AND BOY there are lots of vents/ before upgrading your weapons. The death animations are cool though and it feels where most of the effort went. There are zero puzzles, even more linear than all the Dead Space games, and the game is filled with one note jumpscares by the form of the same enemy. To exaggerate a little bit, this game is like the same four enemies and the same 2 jumpscares over and over and over again, hoping no one notices. You might ignore all the mechanical problems with it and have a fun time, but if you're expecting a spiritual sucessor of Dead Space with the focus on the sweet combat, you're gonna see through it pretty quickly. Positives: Its Dead Space but worse wich can be a good thing if you're desperately craving for something before the remake, awesome lighting, nice graphics, some really cool looking enviroments in between and the impact and gore feels nice. I Rate it VENTS/10 Thanks for reading/ surviving. 😉
Holy shit was I reading the Bible or something? 😂 absolutely agree on your points and arguments I had high hopes for the game bought it myself went and checked out reviewers ended up returning it might pick it up if they fix the issues with the game. Love your Auron pfp
It was pretty easy, ngl. I did three playthrough, cause my first fucked up and second one of the collectibles didn't register and the third was collectibles
I do have to say I was let down by the scares in this game. I hardly got jumpscared at all. I think I only jumped three times. I will say the combat and the Death animations looks and feels nice. They knew what they were doing with those death animations in the game. I kind of enjoyed beating the crap out of the crazies in this game. It did feel kind of repetitive at times. But, overall I enjoyed it for what it was. But I definitely didn't go back and play through it again. It was a one and done for me. But i've been playing the holy hell out of dead space remake. I'm on my third play through right now lol.
@GawdlikeMatt Facts!!!!! Dead Space is beautiful. I can't believe the attention of detail in the game. But, this Platinum playthrough is pure entertainment. Your Silent Hill 2 playthrough was torturous to watch. Becuz I could relate so much to your pain. That row boat part in the game always made me rage.
@@sketchy4383 callisto was a little goofy so i figured why not give it a goofy video. but yes dead space remake is incredible, my personal game of the year choice for sure.
So even though I personally enjoyed the game I'm starting to see why people are having problems with it. I've beaten it 4x. 1x on Easy, 2x on Normal and 1x on Hard with Normal difficulty being my favorite. Once I started on Hard it was like everything I learned on Easy and Normal went out the window! I found my self dodging and still getting hit constantly and I can't tell you how many times I had enemies with NO arms still fucking strike me! Then when it came time for melee combat I had Jacob constantly stop swinging the baton which would cause me to either take a hit or just flat out die. The gun play was another thing that made me mad! When I would reload my guns and quick aim at enemies rushing me !!BOOM!! it'd say no ammo even though I'd watch Jacob load the new clip so again I'd either eat some damage or die. Then onto the enemies...so on Easy or Normal I had enemies stand to the side and not do shit to me while I was fighting another one, but on Hard it didn't work like that and OMG that pissed me off so bad! God the game made me so fucking angry!! I'd still recommend it though.
Everybody’s entitled to their own opinion, but this game wasn’t bad because I wasn’t expecting too much of it.. It’s just a solid 7 out of 10 enjoyable experience.
i was just talking about this today during my live stream actually but I agree that the only reason this game disappointed me as much as it did was because i was expecting a lot where as you didnt and people can enjoy it more if that's case
Bro I played the entire game on the hardest difficulty and it didn't give me my trophy and I got all the stuff for the grim reaper trophy and it didn't give me my trophy so I hate this game.
Thank you, also i dont doubt what you're saying however this isnt me trying to spin it like its harder than it is, this is an honest viewing of how the experience went for me. It does seem to be a fact however that the dodge input is somewhat strict, meaning pushing it even slightly in an opposing direction the game wont register the input which im assuming is why i would not have it work so often.
Guys just an opinion. I haven’t played the game or anything and just watched here and there videos of how janky and bad the game is especially graphics and control and movement What if this is a learning move for dead space remake and how they could make the telekinesis stronger and environment more deadly? It’s just an opinion
Reason why this guy was still getting hit when dodging cause he attack to early when dodging and the only thing u must upgrade is the melee weapon but this game fail at being scary and too easy to get 100% for this
Just beat the game myself and I have to disagree with for the must part I found the combat to be an amazing way to give you the ability to fight back and retain some player agency well still keeping the threat high and fear of the world and the enemies present I also liked the that fighting multiple people made shit really rough cuz it kept in the game I personally hate when I play something and multiple enemies "attack" me together bur really they just form a ring around you and come at me one at a time, the only part I wasn't thrilled with was unfortunately the last fight it felt rushed at best. But I liked the story I liked the characters and I hope we get the dlc or sequel that is hinted at. This is not to say you can't dislike the game or have issues with really cuz it's a game and that's kinda of the point I just wanted to get my thoughts out on matter more then anything
Can't believe ppl suffer for the plat on this game. I don't have the patience to go back for it after playing my first playthrough on Moderate Security... the game is short, next to no story, and combat is EXTREMELY repetitive and clunky. Not a fan. Should've just waited for the Dead Space remake... I knew better Edit: And there is absolutely no excuse for fighting the same boss 3-4 times... just lazy imo
Why would you shit on Callisto Protocol for being nowhere near as good as peak Dead Space, while proudly displaying the Zestiria duology on your shelves?
The death animations in this game are just way too excessive. The cutscenes are unnecessarily long and it seems that’s where all the budget went; graphics and animations.
I like how you wrote this comment despite the fact that so much of the footage in this video is me doing exactly what you said over multiple sections... You should really learn to check the facts before opening your mouth, trust me it's really great for looking less dumb 🙃
Kids don’t build like this man you’re watching upgrade you’re baton fully on the first 2 skill tree points under baton if u don’t have enough save them to get as much as possible then after only upgrade you’re pistol stability and damage and magazine capacity no more then upgrade you’re grp capacity rate to max then grp recharge rate to max then dump rest of you’re points into a shot gun and upgrade the damage and magazine and ONLY USE YOURE SHOT GUNS ON BOSSES make sure you have a ton of shot gun shells on maximum difficulty so avoid using it on standard enemies good luck there’s my build guide
