Im reading Bede's Ecclesiastical History of the English People at the moment. Enjoyed the link between him and Augustine. Nick Needham is good to read.

Rich in depth and fertility.

1:32 “Prior to Augustine…” Why do we think that might be the case? Maybe…perhaps… because Augustine was completely wrong?

You should have continued to listen, then you wouldn't have needed to make that comment. Unless of course, you agree with Pelagius?

@@HearGodsWordPelagius doesn’t have to be right for Augustine to be wrong. They can both be wrong.

@TheRomans9Guy based on the context here, which you don't appear to even be aware of, the choice was between the two of them. However, if you genuinely believe have a third way that shows the church fathers were all wrong then present it. A word of warning is the phrase "if its new, its not true."

@@HearGodsWord Right. Definitely a third option. Of course. You really think there were only two possible options? Wow. Augustine and Pelagius were both adding to scripture.

@TheRomans9Guy wow, you didn't know the context of the reading in the video and didn't offer up your mysterious third view. I can't say I am surprised though.
