Anyone noticed that John and Abhishek were shooting for the song 'Desi Girl' when they would have shot for this part, their clothes and the background behind Abhishek matches that of the song.

I am not a fan of SRK but I just can't get over the cameos he does where he delivers a single line of wisdom that hits deep. "Unhe kabhi mat bhoolna jo tumhe tab jante the jab tum kuchh nahi the." "Ektarfa pyar ki baat hi kuchh aur hoti hai, kyunki auron ki tarah ye do hisson mein nahi batti. Ispe sirf mera haq hai."

Yes bro , even his cameo in Ae Dil hai mushkil , Dear zindagi was good, i feel in his full feature roles Swadesh was and still is the best movie of Shah Rukh , but that year he lost the National Award to Saif Ali Khan for Hum Tum , do you really think that a film like Hum Tum can stand upto to a film of Swadesh's calibre?

True. I agree. Remember the scene where his car is stuck at a signal and these kids run up to his car and start doing funny faces, and Hrithik too starts doing funny faces from inside the car, but also doesn't roll down the glass? That was fantastic.

It's really very tough for any person to play just opposite or different from his or her life. It would have been tough to play an outsider, struggler actor besides of being Jawed Akhtar's son(a film industry's successful and renowned person) and already have lived that prosperous life...but Farhan Akhtar nailed it. I loved this film. It was one of the most surprisingly endearing ones I have seen esp coming from an entitled privileged nepo crowd. It does prove one point though ... Talent and Nepotism are different debates.
