Thank you for showing the campus. I came to the University of Illinoi from Tokyo in August 1966. I graduated from the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations in Jan. 1969. Last time I visited my graduate school and the campus in 2019. I am proud of being the graduate of the university.
I was first introduced to the UIUC campus as a highschool freshman competing at state math competitions. I ended up spending 10 years of my life here, receiving all three of my degrees from this University. Along the way, I experienced incredible highs and lows of life during my time here. UIUC shaped me into who I am, and I am forever grateful for that. Things have changed much since I was an undergraduate here, but my love for this place only grows with the passage of time. I really miss this place.
@@_yongace Thanks for reaching out! You can learn more about how to apply to UIUC on our website: admissions.illinois.edu/Apply/Freshman/process. We also provide some additional info specific to international students: admissions.illinois.edu/Apply/international. We hope this helps!
I went to Parkland, i miss sittin at the UofI campus😂i always told my homies bro this campus is a legit movie scene bro. Seein ppl sleep on campus, picnics, ppl runnin to class nd droppin books, chillin in the student centers. I wanna move back to Champaign just for the scene😌
Articulate a clear vision in your application! Make sure you are not just listing skills, experience, and accomplishments, but stringing them together in a way the tells your story of you who are, what you have done, and what you hope to do (and how UIUC plays a role). Good luck!
I remember watching a virtual tour in Summer, I didn't realize the campus looked so pretty in the fall. I really hope I can enjoy it in person next year.
Looking forward to apply this year! I went to watch the BIG 10 volleyball girls team play and omg it was truly an amazing experience that I will never forget!
Can't go wrong with these large 'Land Grant' Big Ten Universities. Penn State, UIUC, Michigan, Purdue, etc....... a college experience that can't be beat!
I've recently got admitted here to the MSM Program and I am THRILLED to join this 2024 Fall semester, would be really kind if you could share your experience
My father got his masters and PhD from U of I ..... We were from out of state and as result we lived in Champaign during that time period .I spent my summers roaming an empty college town With the boneyard as my personal hiway... Great memories...
Hi Caitlin, I found videos of Champaign when I misspelt the famous French region. I've only been to East St Louis in Illinois State. Cheers from Adelaide, Australia 🥂👍
I always said yall need to take more advantage of the campus tho😌make the lil forest preserve area by the small gym a area where everybody meet the last week of school and bbq, have more events in yall bowlin alley, have movie nights on the quad and all
This university give me opportunity to get online courses in coursera, and their courses are great, I know I'm living in developed country which the core curriculum is not so deep like US uni, but their courses really help me a lot I hope I can pursue my MBA or Phd at there!
I am watching from india it is like a dream for studying in illinois. I had read about illinois in my study book then i came here. Very nice place and university😊
Thanks for this video it was very helpful I’ll be applying for Environmental science this fall. I’ll be so grateful if my application is accepted, fingers crossed 🤞
can I ask how many spaces do you have for international exchange students and how competitive is it to get a place to study here as an exchange student?
Some of the place, I don't recognize. The Quad, main and undergrad libraries, and Morrow Plots look the same. Beware of the winds coming off the South Farms! Class of '76
How active Uber there? Thank you…I’m Uber driver in Chicago and I’m thinking about my kids to be enrolled and accepted in Champaign University !! ? Any advice please 🙏🏻
Absolutely! We wish it was possible to get to EVERYTHING in one video, but it is not :( We should do Huff for one of our upcoming Touring Time videos though! Officially in the idea drawer.
Hi there! I need to feature my poster(advertisement) in your university for engineering students, can you please guide me on how I should do it or reach out student groups?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God loves you and want to forgive your sins. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.
Great tour, but two suggestions: 1. add a shot and short mention of PAR and FAR residence halls (maybe after South Farms); 2. the Greek system deserves at least a short mention. Jacob Ulvila, Eng 72
Yes! This is very important to us. First, please check out Illinois Commitment. If your family lives in state and makes under about $67,000, you can come tuition and fee free. admissions.illinois.edu/commitment If your family makes less than that there are other programs that will provide more aid. Always fill out the FAFSA to apply for all of our financial aid. There are a lot of resources on this campus for financial need! To see all the details on financial aid, check out: osfa.illinois.edu/
