I'm glad there's a post part 2 novel for Lisa Lisa though I wish a studio would animate these spinoffs using the black&white doodles araki makes for them omg😩😩 They have simplified round and bold lines and kinda cute, they would suit pastel animations like Scissor Seven
Yeah those two parts get overlooked the most. Other than the recent Lisa Lisa novel Rey Infinito, the closest you have is Jorge Joestar and Overheaven has Dio talking about his life during Part 1 but it's more of a Part 3 novel. I guess Purple Faze Feedback involves a Stone mask as a macguffin and Demonic Heartbreak's villain is the grandkid of one of Kars' vampires. I also don't mind JJBA doing what-if/elsewhere types of stories. The writers don't have to worry at all about canon and new ideas can be explored.
One of my favorite side pieces of jojo is purple haze feedback and I want it made clear I hated fugo even before he betrayed giorno but when I heard about this I looked into it and it actually made me cry so bravo jojo whether canon or not you always make us feel all the emotions
@@slader350 absolutely, Araki even mentions Dragon Ball being an inspiration multiple times in his authors notes, like Echoes' design being inspired by Cell
I'm glad Otsuichi was able to complete The Book 4th Another Day. I read it sometime last year as I became hooked on the premise. I won't spoil it for those interested but besides the themes present in Part 4, it also touches on the idea of what "books" mean and how they affect reality and memories. There is even an animatic available for the first few chapters available on youtube.
I feel bad for that guy, an artist is always their own harshest critic. Striving for what you perceive as perfection can take a lot out of you. But hey, at least he was able to publish something he was happy with at the end of the day, even if it was a roundabout path.
I find it extremely cool how much araki is willing to let other people have control over Jojo as a franchise. My guy was like I'm not using the Jojo character's freely enough in the work that I'm doing. I truly love how much respect people have to treat these characters well and not completely go off the walls with them, unlike some people in america, unfortunately.
Rest easy Toriyama, because of you manga has exploded in popularity and now we have even more masterpieces to enjoy. Speaking of masterpieces, I never knew about a cancelled Jojo novel. I’m wondering about what it was about and why it was canceled
I think the idea of Josuke taking someone who doesn't know anything about stands under his wing and teaching him about them just like how Jotaro di is such a sweet idea
6:27 「The Hustle」😳 6:58 this scene sounds amazing lolll😂❤ I wish he didn't give up and cancel, I didn't read the story yet but it looks so fun i wish he could rewrite the parts he didn't like :( Araki's art is peak also 6:48 jolyne's so badass she bent space and time continuity to pose for this shirt.
toriyama's death feels unreal. i can't remember a time without dragonball. what's even stranger is to feel sad about the death of a person who was in all aspects a complete stranger but yet a central figure in my creative growth. i hope he can rest now and had a good life
Thank you for making a tribute to Akira Toriyama, the great sensei shaped the way and change the world of animanga forever, so that stories like Jojos and more could come. He changed my life and the life of millions, and I'm so thankful to have grown up with his beautiful work through Dragon Ball. May you rest in peace Akira Toriyama ❤️🫂🕊🐐🐉👑
I just read Purple Haze Feedback so it's interesting this video is coming out now. The Illusion frequency plus algorithms plus that one spoilery channel I usually never watch.
I would have liked to have seen a full story made of this, however, I can see why it was scrapped as at times it does read like a fan fiction at times. I'll take a look at JoJo: The Book
A stand that uses art that ISNT like the power Dio's son used we be really interesting. Maybe the user is either able to travel through paintings or they cab pull objects or weather effects out and have them impact the real world. E.x. using a snowy landscape to make it snow during Summer.
Rest in peace Toriyama...I remember watching Dragon Ball Z Kai in my parents room and played a couple of its games. I even saw a drawing of Super Saiyan 4 Goku in my highschool but with a theme change to match our mascot, Slidell High Tiger. I wasn't the biggest fan of the franchise, more of a fan of One Piece or Jojo but damn would I not say the man has made more impact than any author can hope to surpass with the possible exception of Oda. May he enjoy the afterlife he would envision...
It's pretty curious that the JoJo novels from the 2000's, like "4th Another Day" and "Gokden Heart, Golden Ring", were about normal people we never saw before interacting with the protagonists of the manga, who appear as mere supporting characters. Truly a bizarre experience
🖤🖤🥀RIP he has gone so early... doraemon and dragon ball series were two of the first cartoons I've seen on tv when I was like 7-8 years old. at that age I didn't fully understand and memorize what was going on but it was so fun watching these series and smiling when I had a bad day... 😔 The first reason that got me to learn anime and manga and learn other cultures and foods(i loved and still love anime food, i remember discussing if it was chocolate in doraemon's dorayaki with my cousins when i was like 12. This may seem like a small thing but it was happiness of my childhood. RIP to doraemon's mangaka duo too
There's something heartwarming about fans of other manga/anime paying respect to Akira Toriyama even when his work is not directly relevant to their content. It's crazy to think that at one time heavyweights like Toriyama and Araki were contemporaries being published in Shonen Jump at the same time.
The final book we got was pretty good, but it's a shame tge interesting original story bever camecto life. It totally gives me Phantom Blood movie vibes
Would be neat if there were more JoJo light novels. They can expand upon each setting but each one can also have more depth, detail, and plot than their manga counterpart.
Hirohiko Araki is the creator of Jojo's who is very much alive and working on part 9. AKIRA* Toriyama is the author of Dragon Ball, in my opinion one of the most influential works of a fiction of all time.
He started a gag-manga artist, introduced the world to DragonBall, and inspired generations. If only the DragonBalls were real, we would still be able to receive the best. Rest in Peace, Toriyama Akira-Sensei. Sincerely, The fans who still regard your work as masterpieces, the writers who have taken inspiration to your stories, and the people who only vaguely remember your achievements made in your media. (P.S. I was part of the first group 🫡)
