Cassietta was very sick during this live recording. You can tell by her voice, and her feeling exhausted. But like a TRUE old school gospel singer, she didn’t let that stop her from going forth! And she and Vans’ left that stage on 🔥🔥.
Truly agree with you. Her songs like Walk around heaven and this one here among many others are classic. I love me some Mrs George. May this legend rest in peace with her friends the late queen Albertina and high priestess Inez.

This happens to be one of my favorites by The Caravans and was a joy to see them in full joy and enthusiasm with the choir. My goodness Cassietta George pours her heart and soul into it. Dorothy Norwood always a crowd builder and driving force was right by her side. Albertina and Deloris Washington vocals and spiritual energy along with the choir was incredible. The audience really made this video a beautiful event. Whoever posted this did a great job with the filming, and thank you for sharing. I remember seeing The Caravans in several venues in performance but this took this number to another level. I must admit this is the song me and partner have been singing since the pandemic and our retirement.
