@@DPSSOC Nah man I am explicitly interested in his seafood preferences. I don't give a flying fuck if he eats his steak blue rare with salt and pepper or well done with ketchup.
Part of this video is evergreen but it's timing suggest it's also meant as a response to all the content creators complaining about the early access event being cancelled. The joke about negative content would get old after a few times and a new set might get a better thematic joke.
Thank you so much Remy for coming clean about your feelings towards oysters. I know it takes a lot of courage and i have the outmost respect for u for doing this my friend. We are here for u.
I just don't understand why this cracks me up so much. I've seen enough absurd humor in my lifetime, but maybe it's just because he's such a good actor? Like I could practically feel how weirdly insulted he felt by oysters, with a hint of "and I used to like those, I mean what was I thinking back then"?
I am now a lifetime fan (as if I wasn't already) simply because you recognize the MAJESTY of BIRD ADVISORS. You are correct. We all need more of these in our lives.
You should definitely make more of these. Videos that only speaks about the card are boring. Real players understand your point with the few words about it. You are so refreshing!
Enjoyed the video format. Great to see that you're excited about in the set. And the wisdom behind a candy bar being a far better value at $1 than an oyster at $2 was just spot on.
My favourite card is the one with these mana symbols in the upper right corner of the card and the text in the textboxfield in the middle of the card that tells you what an amazing effect the card has when you play it. Fits right into my edh deck.
Haven't played MtG in years, and I'm always happy to see a new Remy video. Even when he's talking about a card from the latest set (which I'm not following) he still manages to make me laugh.
I won't lie. As a French guy who was born by the Atlantic, I'm very selective in the field of oysters. Same thing with MTG videos, and I have to tell you, you freaking rock Remy. Plus I love owls; tawny owls, bran owls, you name it. Always take care man, you're a gem
This is such a brilliant content idea and I can't wait to see more! The card I like best in Strixhaven is Crackle with Power because the art is stunning, the flavour text is terrifying, and I can't wait to do so much maths to figure out how much to spend on X!
Expressive iteration Cheap but specific 2 for 1 mascarading as a cantrip. Super appealing formatting, the way it uses the red version of card draw and the blue version together makes it feel thematic and neat. Just all around great.
this is really fun! I hope you'll do it again for future sets. Personally, can't wait for ecological apreciation in my Rosheen meanderer deck. I'mma appreciate lots of big fellas.
It's those crunchy pieces of shell that rock my jaw and Crack teeth, hoping for a pearl but it's just a bit of the mother. Like topdecking Sol Ring...there are just better things on the menu. Thanks for all the great laughs Mystery Man!
After seeing your expressions when you rant about oysters, you reminded me of a nice Rudy of Alpha Investments. Like you could be his little beta brother. Rudy and Remy.
Oh man, LOVE it!! so i am not an oyster fan, but in the grocery store over by the canned tuna, you can find cans of smoked oysters. those ones my hubby adores and gets a can as a snack once in awhile, but has also heated them up and tossed them into pasta and such, maybe give those a shot
Introduction to Prophecy is gonna be some clutch card selection in every deck. My dream of making a cheap(ish) Karn, Silver Golem commander deck is coming closer to reality of they keep rolling out colorless spells!
I did not realize I needed a series like this in my life. It's 2 minutes long, and it comes with a well thought out rant about oysters. Perhaps the next video he can delve into his opinion on oyster crackers?
This was fun :) Well uh... I think the card I like best in Strixhaven is Wandering Archaic//Explore the Vastlands. And the shellfish I like least are oysters. Briny, cold and slimy. I'm right there with you, those are not qualities we want in food. We love you, Remy! Thank you for your videos :)
