Indeed. First time the Cardinals have scored 6 runs or more in 4 consecutive games since 2019. Agree, the Manfred run scoring shouldn’t count as a blown save.

What about Willie McGee in 1982?

Having Herrera, who is head over heels better than Pages, in Memphis would be a major mistake. Pages needs to be sent down when Herrera is activated unless they're going with 3 catchers. Herrera is a better hitter, he's more athletic, and gives you the ability to actually have a decent RH bat off the bench worst case.

Monty Stratton trade… rangers got them.. We got Roby Saggase John King neither we’re top 100 guys.. John King was having a bad year… Monty was owed 10 mil prolly less.. 1 year deal.. Scherzer is on the same type of deal.. any one of their high leverage relievers Kirby Yates Robertson etc.. for imo.. give em Roby back as he struggles with injury he’s top 5 was a top 100… another top 13-30 prospect not named prieto.. or Herrera Carlson Gio… add Scherzer and maybe 1-2 high leverage arms hold our breath on Edman and Matz.. Pallante long relief in the pen.. this rotation has now a healthy Scherzer with Gray… Gibson a legit 3… and easily a top 3 pen.. then move Arenado6 Gorman7 Goldie8 Siani9 in the line up with Winn BurlyBomber WillieC Noot Donnie the first 5 this team imo could be the Dbacks of 2023 and truly scare some teams this October!

Pretenders. Which will cause Mo to trade some minor league talent for a loaner who we wont keep, only to get crushed in the first round. If the Cards wanted to really see how good they cold be they would bench Goldy, thats the biggest upgrade they could make.
