As I was editing this video, I had an idea of maybe having a regular live show on this channel where I interview different people about their work, career, and life. If that's something you'd be interested in, thumbs up this comment 👍! For any ideas on the format, guests, and topics, or for any other feedback for how you think the show could be engaging and chill, leave a comment down below 👇👇👇

I think it would great to interview people from all different stages from their career (entry, mid, senior) and different industries! Software engineering can be applied to so many various industries so it would be cool to get that perspective! Thank you Mayuko!

It would be super helpful to get more information as to how to take the leap into the Software engineering world for people who come from a different career/background and want to make that transition. Any tips, resources, or advice as to how to navigate into that space would be great! :)

I left my career in finance behind to join a startup helping with business development. While raising money for the startup, we needed a website to show investors. We didn't have anyone around so I stayed up 2 nights learning html and css to put together a landing page. Now I've been a full-stack developer for 7 years, the twists and turns are quite real but super rewarding :)

This is definitely my favorite video on your channel! The tech career ladder seems daunting, especially because it's not linear, but it's great to know the feeling is mutual between so many of us. One of my biggest fears after transitioning from SDE to BSA has been not getting another chance at SDE, but this video makes me feel much much better! Thank you! :)

A question to anyone who studied computer science or similar: How are career prospects these days? If you have a job already, are you satisfied with where you are overall? I did a degree in industrial design but there are just no good jobs where I am. It's why I'm thinking about doing a second degree, and computer science sounds pretty fascinating. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
