For those of you who were confused like me: In the EATEOT full album, it says that a different song is Quiet Internal Rebellions. That different song is called Long Term Dusk Glimpses. Idk why it says Quiet Internal Rebellions is Long Term Dusk Glimpses, but I hope this cleared up any confusion some people have like I did! ❤️
"Quiet Internal Rebellions" and "Long Term Dusk Glimpses" are the same samples, "Long Term Dusk Glimpses" just has more reverb and effects since it's a stage 3 song. Similar to "It's just a burning memory" and "And Heart Breaks" Edit: Nevermind lol I just listened to them back to back and theyre different songs
@@simianto9957 basically what theyre saying is that in the full version of EATEOT, quiet internal rebellions (this version) was accidentally replaced by long term dusk glimpses in its spot with long term dusk glimpses still playing at its intended point in the series.
this track was misplaced in the full version on youtube. it's a shame because it's one of the best in the album. the reverb is particularly upsetting in this one
wait actually no way. That actually shattered my world. This song was misplaced? I heard it come up in the stage 1 only video and started loosing my mind because i know it isn't stage one, and felt like i was going crazy
@@MAXTHEKlD Right? It doesn't even sound like a stage 1 song, compared to the one that replaced it. This one is so dramatic and sad that it'd fit way better later on.
The best word I can use to describe this is “Strange” Something is just... off about it. It does,t belong in any stage, it kinda makes me shiver. It feels like the beginning strings of Back there Benjamin, but less scary and made a whole a song. Creepy isn’t it ?
Yeah, it's like as if you're quite sorrowful over losing something you can't quite put your finger on, but the feeling disturbs you enough to intrusively linger in your mind despite how seemingly absurd it is to lose your peace of mind over something that seemingly has no deeper meaning to you
What I hear: An old person attempting to remember something fond from the old days--but remembering it wrong. To me, this song very much has the trappings of radio and television in the 30s--or perhaps the 50s. Something with a very light-hearted and domestic feel to it. I imagine this elderly person to play the jingles and the scenes in their head at points too--and perhaps with time, their family may happen upon a channel that lets them view the classics again. When watching though, it... doesn't quite give them the joy they hoped it would. Perhaps they feel shocked that what they remembered turned out to be so differently from what's actually on screen. Or perhaps they're just taken aback that they don't quite feel the same way watching it now as they did back then. Rather than bring comfort or nostalgia it just makes them feel...strange.
Why does this not sound like a stage 1 song? It sounds like something that'd come up near the end of stage 2 or in stage 3. There's something too off about it, it sounds like a warning which IMO doesn't fit with stage 1 at all
@@morelukeplayz6953 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y-Y3eOq0pTM.html definitely this song, the beginning lines up with the loop perfectly
@@somthinwrong that song's a slowed version of this one, they use the same sample, they're not the same song though even though they're both in Stage 1 apparently. I think the original uploader maybe made a mistake, IMO since Long Term Dusk Glimpses is more disorted it should be in a later stage with Quiet Internal Rebellions taking its place. I'm probably wrong but I'll look and see what songs are listed on each stage elsewhere EDIT: yup, according to a Google search Quiet Internal Rebellions belongs in Stage 1 (still a bit weirded out by that), and Long Term Dusk Glimpses belongs in Stage 3
"Their worries grow more, am I okay?, will I forget this feeling?, the pain isn't going away, is this fate?, the dread is getting near, their worst nightmare is slowly coming closer, but they still believe, they still believe they will complete their life, no matter what's in their way."
"Come one come all, welcome to my magic fountain of memories. Step right up and enter your most repressed experiences and get ready to be amazed by my magic. Let's take a small trip down memory lane, shall we? Tell me, what is it you'd like to remember?"
I remember sitting in a meadow by a pine forest, laying in the prairie grass with my best friend while rain pattered on our umbrella. This looped in my head the entire time. The static sounds like rain against our umbrella. My absolute favorite memory, and my absolute favorite caretaker song.
How ironic that I all but forgot this memory until a few weeks back, even though it’d been so important to me once. I’m sure there’s a metaphor somewhere in there lmao
I picture an older man going into his bedroom (or attic) digging around his belongings, then he comes across his book of photos. He happily browses through his memories of each and every picture.
This track is one of the stranger ones in the album, unlike some of the others it gives more of a tense feeling, rather than the mild unsettling effect of the others. Maybe its the off put echo or the uneven loop, but it’s different.
In my opinion, this is a dream after B2 and before B4. B2 is like spending your night, and then you go to sleep, and at B4 you wake up, with some sort of memory you had that you can't quite recall after some hours. This music in between those tracks fits perfectly.
Fits better for an stage 3 track. The reverb makes it feel like a stage 2 or stage 3 track, but the mood rules out stage 2. Perhaps it would take the place of Long Term Dusk Glimpses and vice versa.
nah "way ahead feels lonely" is perfect as is. this song is called "quiet internal rebellions" for a reason, its a sign something is wrong but its not noticeable enough to accept it
when I hear music from the caretaker, it makes my bad thoughts disappear and it's like saying "everything is gonna be okay dont be scared" and it's easy for me to focus on its music the caretaker made me get interested in his music and with this I can imagine me as an old man and his music transports me into the 30s I love it thank you Leyland Kirby
The start of this song gives me a feeling i cant describe. i can imagine an old wall, very dark and grainy image, the wallpaper is starting to rot as it looks teard out I imagine it like an old 50's building
Stage 1 on it's own is, simply put, beautiful. It pretty much represents the best and happiest parts of the old age. Once you are in peace with what you know is going to come next, you can truly understand how special and significant Stage 1 is compared to all the other albums...
The first part/intro of the song is you feeling like something is off about yourself, but you can’t quite place what(yet). The second/main part sounds like you being able to convince yourself you’re just paranoid and everything is fine(for now).
This feels like a song that would play when your in a odd dream and your walking through all your memories and then suddenly you realize you’re not watching your memories, your in your memories
for some reason on the full youtube edition this track is replaced by "long term dusk glimpses", I didn't know this first few times listening to the album and accidentally listened to a stage 3 song in stage 1. On bandcamp and on the individual youtube edition of stage 1, quiet internal rebellions is kept in its original form.
i wonder why this one wasn't in the full 6 1/2h upload. and also why it was replaced by long term dusk glimpses from stage 3 still under the name "quiet internal rebellions".
I think it was copyrights issues, that's also why Stage 1 isn't on the main channel with the other stages, Leyland didn't want his 6 hours project to be taken down because of a single Stage 1 song so he changed it, why a Stage 3 song though ? I have no clue
@@TheOmegaGamersorry for being late lol. It's because Long Term Dusk Glimpses is the clearest stage Three song. I think Kirby wanted to use a song that captured the energy of Stage One without making a new song. But no stage 2 songs would've worked as a stage One song

1975. You are sitting down watching TV, when your wife asks if her friend can sleep on your old rocking chair. Your kind of out of it, and your thinking of just saying no. But you don’t want to be rude, but before you muster the words, “Eh alright.” You go back and forth with yourself. But, you just can’t remember what you were arguing about. Right, the chair. You tell him “go right ahead” and muster off to bed.
You know I always wondered why the people said “It” is rising from the fountain. I’ve found my answer and just the fact of watching the Walten Files I pieced it together
in my opinion the worst part about this song is how it doesn't loop back evenly, and it feels like it skips ahead or behind on a few beats with each loop...
