Tbh its not even the team, the teams talent is there. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. Its just they cant execute. Also the offensive play calling is very suspect and too conservative so its easy to guard that type of offense they need to start throwing bombs.

I have been a fan of Bryce Young since high school and college. He has never been on a losing team so I can imagine his frustration and disappointment. The Carolina Panthers are one of the worst teams in the NFL and it is not because of Bryce Young. The Panthers GM and HC has done a poor job of drafting in good players to help the team. I was praying he would be drafted by the Texans that already was deep in great players but simply needed a QB after Deshaun Watson was traded. Now CJ Stroud is enjoying great players around him on the Texans and Bryce is stuck with a nontalented Carolina team. Then you have these idiots that want to blame Bryce and say that Carolina should have selected Stroud instead. I got news for you Carolina would still have the same losing record and Bryce would be showing out for the Texans. This is why USC QB Celeb Williams who is expected to go #1 in the 2024 NFL draft stated, "If he was projected to be drafted by a losing team that he would stay another year at USC". Carolina needs a new HC, OC, DC and acquire key players that can play. If you hate Bryce Young so much I wish Carolina would work out a trade for him during the upcoming season for a first round pick and watch him go on a team that have a great coaching staff with great players in place and show out. You same crying ass people will be saying we should not have traded him. Carolina needs to completely rebuild their team just like the Texans and Jaguars did, including hiring a new coach and GM. No more talk.

I don’t really doubt bryce can be a good qb in the nfl but he’s a system qb. There’s nothing wrong with being that type of player, but Carolina didn’t have anything for him this season. O line is atrocious, he has 1 pass catching weapon, and his defense isn’t even allowing him to get a lot of reps. Stroud is more able to step into a disfunctional team and make it happen, and the panthers knew they weren’t going to compete but still needed a decent amount of wins cuz there’s no point of sucking without your first.

I wouldn’t be so negative if Bryce young didn’t get sized up by damn near every ref in cleats and a helmet.

Thielen has been great. 49 catches, 4 TDs, 509 recieving . the problem is everyone else has been terrible. If we kept DJ & traded Burns we'd probably be 3-3 & Bryce would be looked at more favorably

This video seems to focus primarily on Bryce Young and the offense, but really understates how bad injuries on this team have been that have basically neutered the perceived strengths of the team. While injuries happen to every team and are a reality of the game, the Panthers roster was already relatively weak, and their injuries have been localized to the better starters on the team. The defense was built back to front, with an expected strong secondary to help a more limited front. Xavier Woods, Vonn Bell and Jaycee Horn were anchoring the defense with Horn probably being the 3rd best player on the entire team. Bell was hurt week 5, Woods week 3 and Horn we have no idea when he will be back, if at all. Throw in Shaq Thompson breaking his ankle who was the vocal leader and QB of the defense and you have a squad that was on the cusp of being top 10 to probably the bottom of the league. The strength of the offense was supposed to come from the OL. They graded out as a top half OL for last season and were expected to be solid returning the same OL coach and all 5 starters, with the caveat Austin Corbett was recovering from an ACL injury sustained in November of last year. They started the season very well against Atlanta, but starting LG Brady Christensen went out for the season in week 2 and RG Austin Corbett has taken longer than expected to return from his ACL tear. Pass protection and run success has been abysmal as practice squad tier players have started in their absences. They haven't been able to establish any sense of a run game and most drives have been stalled from the line being on pace to give up 54 sacks on the year.

Bryce Young's rookie season reminds me of Trevor Lawrence's. He has no chance with a terrible head coach and no offensive weapons. I still think he can bounce back, the Panthers need to fire Reich, hopefully finally hire a good head coch, and make splashes in free agency for the offense if they have the cap space.

Tepper is the problem pushing them to make the trade and give the bears too much. They could’ve signed a quarterback in free agency until they had a chance to draft a rookie.

Yea, that elite qb went 0-11 before he won his first game...he just named another one in Peyton Manning I'll add one more Eli Manning and I could name more that went 0-8 0-7 etc etc...we need to build around Bryce bc right now he has no line and only Adam Thelien is doing anything... and our defense isn't helping us either...injuries have killed us this yr too...I'm staying patient and understand this will take time...

It's not just one person, there are so many different factors. I hate people who say Bryce is a bust because its not true. Our offensive line is so injured, and Ikem Ekwonu really needs to step up. And its not just that. Reich has been so incompetent. He's been play calling the entire time and the plays have been nightmares. He needs to hand the job over to Thomas Brown. The worst part is our WRs. Thielen and Viska have been looking really good, but TMJ and Mingo haven't stepped up yet. If all of these go well. Young can do so well. With our defense, its just injuries. Burns and Derrick Brown have been doing good as normal, but everyone else is injured. Jaycee Horn, Shaq Thompson, Jeremy Chinn are all out for the szn. CJ Henderson is our CB1 which says a lot. Ejiro Evero is amazing but there's only so much you can do with a heavily injured defnse.

I know it is early but Young gives me Sam Bradford vibes. Extremley hyped in college due to the talent around him and being in a great situation but not a true game changing talent at the next level. I could be wrong of course and this is def a hot take by me. Regardless, I would have picked Stroud over him any give day and sunday as the overall number 1 overall pick.

Bryce Young is a stud. His supporting core is really subpar, the offensive line needs to be improved, and people just need to be patient with him.

I only wanted CJ because of his size. Bryce is too small to be behind our o line. Hopefully he doesn’t get injured because we can’t protect him. Any quarter back that can survive an entire game behind our line is definitely worthy of being a good player in my eyes 😂.

Here is the question. With the lack of talent on the roster and lack of picks from going to get Young what are the Panthers supposed to do? If I was a skill position player as a free agent there would be 2 teams on the black list the Panthers and the Pats. But to be fair this is pretty par for the course the Panthers have never been a winning organization and at this point I doubt they ever will be.

Bryce young has a great head on his shoulders. The team loves him and he says and does all the right things. He should be fine.
