Should pay for food and housing as well as medical care for real Canadian citizens !! No brainer ! This current administration.. dictatorship / government needs to go !

@@DirtyDog995last numbers I read was about 1.7% of Canadians. So like a youtube channel that gets ~700,000 views on its videos. I wonder which of those channels clear a *billion* dollars of revenue each year?
My main concern is how to survive all of these financial and political crisis, especially in light of the US political power scuffle. The government has really called things more difficult for its citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of the bad governance.

WOW as a postal worker for over 30 yrs I do not make 70k a year in Canada No wonder most of us skip meals never go to the dentist and most of the struggles everyone faces, I would love to make the average salary.
I will refuse to watch the cbc, I will filter out the support sources to them to the best of my abilities. I will boycot as many of the corporate support ( ads, any promos, and products) as I can avoid! Piss on them all!

This is absolutely sick. $18 million is alot for bonuses. Will CBC give all the layed off employees severce packages worth approx. $70,000 ? Most likely they were only able to EI . Defund CBC now to save taxpayers from this abuse of their position.

What happened to the CBC? It use be a broadcaster that had noted programs and a news reporting agency that was seen as objective around the world and even in the Communist Block of countries. In Communist East Germany where my family came from , I remember people trying to get the CBC broadcasts for Hockey as it was thoroughly enjoyed by many, I think even the government tended to overlook this infraction as it was probably deemed "non political" . Now the news is skewed and biased, programs are lukewarm at best, even Hockey night in Canada is a bit lack lustered. . People see this and just turn it off. I don't understand why the "Educated"at CBC cannot understand this. Executives at that time of the 1960' 1970's made ok money but not obscene money, I do not remember if they even got bonuses then . The CBC is now TOP HEAVY with executives , where managers are managing managers. This is almost a copying of a communist system which is milking the system to an extent that is criminal, they do not produce anything of note, and to say they meet benchmark objectives is just a plain unadulterated falsehood. Their money should be massively cut , and advised until they get their workforce in order, accountability established, programs better made , further cuts will be made or the corporation folded altogether.
This guys information is wrong. It was 1.4 BILLION we paid then they laid off 800 people. This guys garage covered it 7 months ago as parliament has been investigating fraud for over 1 year now. Obama changed what the news could report in 2001. They're paid by the government to report what they're told. Our news is fake. They use AI, crisis actors and war video games. Nothing like what news use to be. Just misinformation, fear mongering and propaganda now. So much is going on and they don't report on it. So many scandals parliament has exposed and nothing from them. Goes for all news so becareful what you trust and research to double check. There is no need for any of these bonuses for any of these positions especially government employees who already surpass the average pay scale. We don't seem to get much value anymore just mismanagement for the past several decades
I want to see CBC taken away. I would like something of an unbiased national news outlet, but I dont see that being possible without corruption at the expense of the Canadian taxpayer.
If jobs , viewership and quality programming is down something has to go up like bonuses . Why not the serfs having a hard time to make 3 mels a day are paying the bill
I lost 2 pounds last month. My goal was 12 pounds. I was so pleased with my performance and myself so I celebrated by eating a whole cheesecake with cherry topping. If I put this on my resume can I work for the CBC too?
Paid a bonus for failure. How do I achieve this result. I know it will be much easier for me to get paid a high salary and a bonus if I can fail at my job consistently. I’m sure I can achieve failure simply by coming in late, having a long lunch and leaving early. I can probably come up with more ways to achieve failure once I’m not working so hard and taking longer vacations that I will be able to afford with my bonus money. Unfortunately the job I have requires that I achieve a certain level of productivity or I will have my lazy ass kick out into the streets. This I plan alien concept to those working for the CBC and all government agencies.
Sounds pretty stupid to me. If you’re not making money, you should not be giving bonuses out to anybody obviously not doing their job! just don’t pay anything out And don’t have bonuses in peoples contracts!
