This is why I don't keep a gun on me- because if you get angry or scared, or both, in a split second, you can make a bad decision that literally ruins the rest of your life. I have a gun, but I don't keep it on me- I keep it put up in such a way that I have time to think before I could use it. The only reason I have it is because I live so far from the police, the response time is around 45 minutes to an hour usually. Which means if someone breaks in- it's on me to protect myself and my mother. There's a prison about 15 miles from me that's on the banks of the same river that runs by my house. Twice prisoners have escaped and used the river- but they've never bothered us. It's actually kind of stupid because it takes about 45 minutes to float downstream to here from the prison- plenty of time for them to figure out what you've done and be waiting at the bridge down here below my house which is exactly what they did, both times. The second group had enough sense to get off the river before they got to this bridge though- so they caught them on the road instead. There's a huge swamp- you're forced to either take the roads, take the river, or fight your way through miles of muddy swamp land.
This is exactly why safes and trigger locks are important, yet so many people “think” they’re being super safe, by keeping their piece in a damn drawer or the top of their closet…smh. Thank you, for being a responsible owner!

If a person won’t agree to their conduct should the contract be broken, they prob shouldnt be trusted. IMO. Or just don’t get the state involved as a party to your marriage. Either way works. But when people get the state involved by getting a marriage license, you create a contract where 1 party usually benefits (those who initiate most divorces) and 1 party always benefits (the state).

Jordan-Green was sentenced to 30 years minimum for pleading "guilty" to Murder 2, because he was willing to tell "his side of the story" to the "good guys." Cold-blooded liars might only get 20 years minimum when pleading "not guilty" to Murder 1 and being found guilty at trial, because they know better than to trust the police. Detectives might say that telling the truth, showing remorse, getting it off your chest, manning up, and doing the right thing will be better in the long run. Watching interrogation videos has convinced me that the opposite is true.

It’s honestly devastating to watch people do this to themselves. This guy is out there exercising his rights to own a gun to defend his life, but acts completely oblivious to the fact that he also has a right to an attorney to help him fight for his freedom and life.
Wouldn’t of made a bit of difference in this case. In fact, him openly talking and being sincerely remorseful probably helps his case if anything. Sounds like the video make its look like it’s cold blooded murder. Had he lawyered up, he may have got life sentence. The way I see it here. It may be second degree or even manslaughter with a 15 yr sentence ..which is light. I’m only about 40 minutes in but my personal opinion is that this interview helped him.
The interview guaranteed he gets charged with 2nd degree murder and not manslaughter, it didn't help him. The cops pretended like they were helping him by saying he didn't lure the guy (that would be 1st degree) but then walked him into admitting he shot the guy because he was pissed at him. Had the guy not talked to the cops without a lawyer he could have controlled better what he said. Always gets a lawyer. Always!

I feel like in the moment, as soon as they hear the beginning of the Miranda Rights, they think they should tell their sides of the story because they think it’ll look better for them, it’ll fool the cops, they watch too many crime shows - when literally all the cops are doing are reading them the rights that they have 🤣 And they also don’t realize that a lot of the times, the detectives know the answer to every question they ask BEFORE they ask. In court th 32:26 32:26 e video showed Michael Tripp by the park entrance and them chasing him Rily threw a huge glass bong toward him hit the road but shattered and cut his back and then she started hitting him he never hit her.and Austin got there next to her Michael open handed swong at Austin, Austin the video showed that he if anything grazed his hair then Austin just pulled his gun and shot him. Plus so much wish you could get that video played in court
Riley is an awful human being. Has no problem starting all this drama but didn't want to stick around and deal with it. Saying she wanted to get away from the guys as if they were the problem. So she walks off further escalating the situation instead of going inside and calling the cops. Disgusting.
