"And im telling you something "........The defendant is a disgrace with a bad attitude. As is the plaintiff. As JJ said at the start, they all deserve each other. Case dismissed. Good judgement. 👍🏻
I was waiting for her to kick him out, he literally couldn't stfu for one second. Additionally the plaintiffs constant "ma'am ma'am ma'am ma'am" was also irritating like she had a leg to stand on lol
He told on himself at the end. I believe her. He said he was helping her out because she was homeless. How? If he thought her car was paid off, why would she swap vehicles? 🤔
So so surprised how much JJ allowed the 3 and then the 2 people to constantly murmur and interrupt and mumble and deny and interject and ... 🤐😂 but yeah, during part 1 you could tell that since neither had clean hands, ain't nobody gettin' nuthin'.
This plaintiff turned out to be an ice head with a felony. This explains her bizarre behavior. Guaranteed she knew this car still had a lien owed of 12, 000 dollars. Unbelievable
I still don't get what the defendant did wrong. JJ explained why he must have reported the vehicle stolen within 30 days of sale and that sounds logical to me. He made the mistake of not conducting a thorough check on the plaintiff's car but that can happen to anyone. He admitted his mistake. I think she would have at least listened to his counterclaim because his hands were 'clean' in my opinion.
At least JJ acknowledged there's a possibility the cops legit told the defendant to report the car stolen. Terrible judgment to assume all cops are good cops. Either way the defendant rightfully won even tho he absolutely didnt deserve anymore money
Between the 2 of them, the Defendants are really not guilty of anything. They traded for a car and it was reposessed a week later. The Defendants shouldn't have called the car in stolen, but it's likely the Police did tell them to do so. The Plaintiff seems like a methed up scammer, I understand why the Defendants are so irritated. However, it sounds like the Defendants aren't out anything because they got their car back and sold it. Had they not, I have a feeling JJ would have been more lenient towards their claim.
The hustler got hustled, if you're gonna play that game you accept that risk. She has a lot of nerve taking this to court. I hope the $300 appearance fee was worth being exposed to the whole country as a hustler for this plaintiff.
Yet Jj failed to ask why would plaintiff trade a better car for the defendants old model. The defendants claim to not knowing that a balance was owed is sus. They expected a new car for their old one free and clear? What bs.
The 2000 Benz is worth MUCH LESS than the Chrysler. While both cars were worth NOTHING, the reallity is that that they probably did know that there was money owing.
TBH though the defendant was a bit too much…that plaintiff tried to screw them over horribly. I don’t doubt the police told them to report it stolen. Defendants had every right to be upset…I don’t think defendants were unclean plaintiff effectively stole from them IMO.
She meant all of her belongings that were in the Mercedes when it was impounded and later returned to the defendant. Pretty sure the cops would have already seized all the possessions she cared about anyway, like the meth pipe.
I don't think the defendant came into court with unlcean hands. JJ would not let him get a word in edgeways She originally accused him of filing a false police report then she realised the cops probably *did* tell him to do it and she was still nasty to him. I love JJ but sometimes she just takes a dislike to someone. His ",....and I'm telling you something" was imo justified given she had just wrongly accused him of a crime. Taste of her own medicine.
I was waiting for her to kick him out, he literally couldn't stfu for one second. Additionally the plaintiffs constant "ma'am ma'am ma'am ma'am" was also irritating like she had a leg to stand on lol
Plaintiff said "they stole everything I owned, out of the vehicle". Talk about entitlement, when she had $12,000 loan on her vehicle which she hid from the defendants.
OMG this case is crazy. So really the defendants thought they were in for a payday by swapping a $2000 car for a $6000 one, and it didn't occur to them that someone doing that doesn't make a lot of sense. 😂😂 Greed on one side and drugs on the other, I'm glad it was dismissed.
She's crazy bringing this case to judge judy! Girl owed 12k on the car she traded and got caught with drug paraphernalia. She was gonna lose that car for not paying and probably just wanted the money for more drugs.
Both sides trying to pull one on each other. She was underwater by 5-6K. But he was thinking he was getting a 6K car in exchange for his 2K car. A car swap, at least one without some money changing hands as well, is just a weird idea. Almost certainly someone is getting the short end of the stick.
