Currently watching it and I’m half way through and I can’t believe how much the lawyer is talking. Thank goodness for helping Mr. Wilson in his fight, but she is talking a. Bit much - let Mr. Wilson tell HIS story. As a suggestion for future individuals which Andy Stumpf could or should interview, I say interview more folks like Mr. Wilson who have come back from tremendous setbacks. Most interviewed have spoken about topics on a broader subject, but to hear about an individual’s journey might just be an interesting thing to do.

The problem is that the system is adversarial; it’s all wins and losses, stepping stone prosecutors looking to prove that they are “tough on crime.” Why is the system not about finding the truth? 💵💵💵💵

I've been accused of SA because I wouldn't give my pain pills to some chick i knew when she offered to blow me. I had a ride outside and within being there for 2 minutes just after she proposed to suck her boyfriend came busting through the door like he just caught us doing something. I went home and about an hour later the police just left paperwork on my porch no investigation or even a single question but I went to court and thank God for my ride and my lawyer and beautiful wife! The judge knew they were liar's but it felt good to destroy them with evidence because they cost me my job, my name and a few thousand dollars and possibly my freedom and they weren't punished for lying or anything!

Great story and still don't understand how this happens even once, let alone 2-10% of the time. I honestly would like to be more knowledgeable about the DA races locally and I have tried to in the past, but how do you know when they are good? They seem to always focus on their convection rate, but never once heard any stats about wrongful convection rates. I think these stats should be the headline stat given during elections.

The doors in the prisons in Arizona were apparently not nearly as secure as the one ones in California apparently. (See the news and lawsuits). I wonder if this is just an AZ thing or all prisons have this issue.

I'd like to see Like and Ed Calderon (Eds Manifesto) episode. He seems to know more about what's going on south of the border than most. And it's just wild to me how little attention is given to the drug war to the south.

One of the worst violators of wrongful convictions would be Travis County out of Texas State. A good starting point would be how they use to escalate “domestic violence” calls into State Jail Felonies. Lawyers, Judges and at least one DA has lost their jobs over this stuff. Look into it, many still suffer today especially since the courts are backed up due to the lockdowns.

This was so heart breaking. It's nuts that the incompetence and corruption in the prosecutorial system can destroy people's lives. The irony that this lawyer was supporting one of the most corrupt DAs in the country wasn't lost on me. I really wish she would have let Mr. Wilson tell his story instead of trying to steer the conversation to hit her talking points.

I liked the guys story for being found innocent. But that lawyer doesn’t seem genuine to me. They over-inflate numbers all the time about convictions being overturned. A lot of them are not because they are innocent it is because someone made a mistake in the process and it’s thrown out. Many find some small thing to get them released. This man is a real story but the lawyer puts crap out that many in law enforcement call bullshit on.
