Some of them used the Winx-Insta-Filter once. Abbey, Elisha and Precious got their actual characters, Bloom, Musa and Aisha. Jacob Dudman (actor for Sam, Terra‘s brother) used the same filter and got Bloom😂😂😂.
y'all it's just logic though. they had to make the show less "childish" and wanted to make it darker so they switched and changed things up a bit, including the fairy types instead of giving each fairy a unique power. so considering how tecna's powers are all about technology, she wouldn't fit in any of those 6 fairy types mentioned in the show unless they'd change her powers, and even then y'all would find something to complain about. now, we can't know for sure if tecna's ever going to show up in the future seasons or not, but it's obvious that most tv/film adaptions have to change some things for plot reasons but that doesn't make an adaption bad, it just makes it different. if it was gonna be the same as the cartoon then it would've been a live action, not an adaption.
I love how Abbey silently agrees with everything Precious said about Prudence. She's like "She's got the best hair and she has the best style..." and Abbey is just smiling like a proud mom.

Season 1 wasn't that bad it was pretty solid, here's hoping season 2 is a little more flushed out and goes more into depth with the side characters and that bloom gets a little more "likable" because season 1 Bloom was a train wreck.

The power of turning invisible when nobody is looking at you would be helpful to find out if you had stalkers or if you were being tracked by someone through security cameras. If you try when your alone but don’t turn invisible, you would know either of these were true.
Honestly it was a great 1st season and i can only see season 2 being even better idc idc 🤩 I wish the “haters” would be able to separate their preconceived ideas about the show (based on their childhood memories) from something that is clearly a separate interpretation of the world that WINX is set in They’re 2 different things and are both great

I did both tests in Buzzfeed's site and I got Stella both times!!! I thought I had nothing in common with her to be honest, I'm quite surprised, but I'm also really glad bc I can definitely see things that we have in common💗💗💗
they look like an amazing cast too bad the show was bad, they deserved better. The directors really threw them under the bus and let them get all the flack for the whitewashing controversy
I’m speaking bc I’m not a fan of the show fate. I grew up on winx I even had dolls. All I wanted to see was the aesthetic the original show had, which it didn’t. And this is supposed to be the winx club real life version. So overall they used winx club hype just to do them dirty. I agree the storyline is decent but if ur gonna recreate a totally memorable show that so many people look up to, do it right. And listen to the fans. Bc so many people were making winx inspired outfits before the fate saga was even announced. As a Latino Mexican, I loved that they included a Hispanic character into the winx club. Flora was my favorite character, and to find out they replaced her and whitewashed her character is not ok with me. Anyways I’m stating why a lot of winx fans are mad. We didn’t just love the storyline we loved the characters, vibes, and aesthetics the original winx gave off. So yeah it is disappointing and for that reason I have the right to hate it. Much love to the girls from fate but it just wasn’t it. Not even all the winx characters where there, sad.
For everyone saying that they enjoyed fate. You’re telling me that you 1) likes the costuming 2) liked that they collided witches and fairies 3) enjoyed that they ruined the original FRIENDSHIP between the main 6 4) whitewashed everyone 5) gave Bloom protagonist energy 6) threw in ONE black chic and ONE overweight girl and said ✨diversity✨ So many things wrong with old people assuming this gen doesn’t know any better 💀🙄
- They collided witches and fairies? They've done much more than that. The timelime doesn't add up & characters are missing. (The show is not a parallel of the cartoon) - They actually spoke out on the whitewashing and diversity. (They're very much aware & hope to show more in S2) - You can't say anything about the friendship because it's still in progress. (You can see they're growing closer) - Bloom is in fact the protagonist even in the cartoon she is. (What energy should she have?) Fate is def enjoyable for some. Not everyone will like it. It's not a kid's show for 5yr olds. It's much darker and the storyline has a few parallels to the cartoon but that's it.

Interesting. I’m a big fan of the original series too...and I’ve been really hesitant to watch this. Mostly because i wasn’t interested in the direction they were taking it. Would love to hear some opinions from longtime fans who have seen this series too
If you are a fan of the original, you may be disappointed because it's VERY different from the source material. If you don't mind the changes you might like it. I personally didn't like it that much because the friendship between the girls was my favorite aspect and you don't see much of that
the cast is cute but please throw the whole show away or cut any ties to it being Winx Club because it's really not. Winx is so iconic and the legacy is being ruined by this show

They did some changes, especially with the outfit changes. I spoke to Hannah (actress of Stella) and she told me the outfits are way better now, they were also involved in the choosing, besides I saw some bts pictures of one of the outfits of Bloom and Musa.

I will never forgive the whitewashing of the characters... Lmao guys you don't get to pick and chose what POC you support, the new cast clearly whitewashed an Asian character and a Latina character. The fact that this type of passive racism is tolerated in 2021 is astonishing.
This show was such a boring cliche.Basically I’m not like other girls but 10x more basic and bad cgi. love the characters but the show in itself is meh.
