Oh Sam that cat’s meow blanket is gorgeous! I am so proud of you! Especially for powering through it! It is so easy to just throw in the towel and say I can’t or I don’t like it so I am done. Hi Sam… Your Cat’s Meow 🐈‍⬛ looks PURRfect!! I didn’t do the challenge, I do however have 5 Boggy Blankets already made and I am in the midst of doing Lynanne’s Up with Kindness Tunisian Blanket and that was a huge learning curve for me. (UGGGH) I have done many graphgans in the past so I would have been better off doing the Cat’s Meow! But, I do have this Tunisian down pat now, and it’s easy street from here on out! I did buy the Dog’s Day Blanket by SweetPotato3 (same as the 🐈‍⬛ but it’s a 🐶) to do for my son, when I have a free moment in time to start it. Sam, thank you for taking part and making a blanket for Boggy Creek. You really did a wonderful job. 💜🧶🤟🏼🐈‍⬛

Hi Sam! Love the cats meow, the colors turned out awesome. I finished mine as well and you just reminded me that I need to take a picture and send to Lala. I had the same struggles with it as well, abd ended up doing the hdc too, but mine ended up needing a border because I crochet so tight LOL

I also made this, or tried to and am having trouble understanding how you ended up with a 'bazillion' ends? I had maybe 8? (before frogging it after I realized at row 72 that it would be too long). I did this 'intarsia' method. started with 4 bobbin (balls actually) I'd crochet the first section of colour - add the next colour (leaving the first colour attacted), then added the next (again leaving the ball attached etc, Initially I had 4 balls, one for each section... then just turned and went back as the patterned showed. Where 2 colours met I just crossed one over the other and then started using the next colour. No need to join and cut at each colour change.... am so sorry you had all those ends.
