For Hole & Corner Jake and Jacob Sutton have built and filmed a giant catapult. The fashion model is unveiled once a candle has burnt through the string holding the contraption at its tensile point. The catapult, you will notice, is ingenious, expertly made and not a little scary. It springs once a candle has burnt through a string - and the moment of violent action and velocity becomes a thing of fluttering grace. That’s the idea anyway...
