I remember laughing so hard when this originally aired (obviously we didn't know what was gonna happen/what the sketch was gonna be about when the police woman ended with "there'll always be people who can't bring themselves to accept the fact that you are....ginger"
@@2expressmranderson Sunlight is still the enemy both for my skin and the fact there are red undertones in my brown hair in the right sunlight. Thankfully the freckles I had all over my face disappeared, im still considered a day walker I think....

I can't believe that grown adults still go on about names they were called as children. I doubt if there's an adult on the planet who wasn't the target of taunts at sometime in their childhood; neither do i believe they never tauned anyone else fat kids taunt skinny kids and vice wersa .iwas a skinny geeky kid with glasses, my worst tormentor was a beautiful red headed girl who all the boys fancied myself included but she wouldn't be seen dead walking down the street with me. That was sixty years ago. A year ago we celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary with a. Holiday in the place we had our honeymoon .it's called life get over it😅
i believe years ago it was Catherine Tate that taught me to love my red hair. As per usual every redhead kid is taunted constantly at school. But I now see it may have been jealousy on account of their boring hair colour XD I am named so because of my rusty/burnt orange giving way to blond locks ;)(it started at school, year 8, geez called Sonny) do people really feel this way about redheads in 2023? someone let me know lol are we still mocked or are we admired.
Like most kids I made fun of gingers being young and ignorant; in the years since I've worked with gingers and found many of them are decent people I can even truthfully say that some of my friends are ginger. There is even one in my local and he's just like everybody else he even watches the football sometimes

All kinds are taunted at school ginger, fat skinny tall,short spotty stinky,nosey daddy long legs, green Gilbert and speccy four eyes which was my own nickname it's what kids do😢
