palworld actually sponsoring the event and making those cute ads for IDF was so nice, its actually really cool for a game company to do this for an event done by streamers and youtubers
1:16:03 Hey that's me! I still can't believe I won the raffle for the Keyboard, but happy I did and happy to do my part to help raise funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation!
Gotta be one of the hardest thumbnails to date. The dynamic posing, the immaculate lighting, the tasteful spritz from the beer can, oh god... it even has the 69 in the background.
The donation amount added from the merch was actually insane. That monke plush must've sold very damn well. EDIT: The amount added at the end wasn't just from merch, It's also from some of the items. Production was delayed on adding the amount.
It was not all from merch tho. Production stopped adding money from lots, for some reason, after Valkyrae's lot. That's why it jumped so high at the end.
@@Magemaster55 Ahh if thats the case that would make sense. I figured raising 100k+ purely from 5 dollars of each merch item sold would be a ludicrous amount.
As someone recently diagnosed with the same thing as Ironmouse, Connors dedication to the cause means a lot to me! Im not even american but the IDF has been a huge resource to help me understand my condition. Please donate blood/plasma if youre able!
Nah Pete's is a whole IRL tour/hangout in Tokyo. Lud's and Rae's are just collabs for a limited time. Its understandably higher, even Lud bid for a while on Pete's but lost lol
I think most people misunderstood what winning a challenge coin from Thor means. It means winning a near impossible challenge from Thor. In this case, Thor wanted to openly promote challenge the COIN and gave the challenge to outbid him. If sb got the bidding time right or the bid was high enough, that sb would win the Coin. It's a challenge with progressing difficulty to get his most trusted treasure.
46:16 Connor calling the candies cinnamoroll flavors is the sign he's losing his mind to cinnamoroll Edit : lmao I didn't think people would even see my comment, can't believe the likes 😭 anyway I laughed at this moment again haha
fr this year's paid actors not really on point, I think only 1 guy from the previous year was rehired this time and the rest of the actors were just not giving enough energy to hype up the auction
The ironmouse mech thing is so fucking cool. Like having someone there on a tablet is one thing but having something that lets them like move around and stuff makes it really seem like they're there. Truly living in the future.
holyyyy the chapter markers for this vod within 24 hours is CRAZY amazing event glad it went even bettter than last year! the early online auctions definitely pulled in moreee
the challenge coin in the beginning was such a great idea of thor the challenge was unknown but at the end we knew... the challenge was to outbid THOR HIMSELF
Side note: I just love that connor doesnt treat mouse like some kind of invalid and talks his usual shit with her. Its hilarious because mouse has some strong words and they are both kind of keeping it chill for everyone but i can only imagine the back and forth between them
4:53:00 Mouse telling her story is the highlight of this event for me. She's just such a good speaker, and none of this would have happened if she never had the strength some days to carry on despite the lonliness and pain. WE LOVE YOU IRONMOUSE AND CONNOR!!!
Decided to watch the VOD because i saw the person who won Poki's, Rae's and Mouses+Conner auction post about her wins on Twitter. Such a wonderful event loved the full 6 hours of it
I was a last-minute proxy bidder, and it was a ton of fun to participate in this! It's really cool to see more positive attention and awareness for immune deficiency disorders. I spent half of it being dehydrated/trying to fix my headset and the other half needing to pee really badly after drinking a bunch of water during the break lol
Connor mentioned like 2 or 3 times in the auction how he was actually losing money producing this auction, and it also seemed quite stressing to almost have to cancel the auction when the sponsors pulled out and before Apari and Palworld swooped in. This is not what he deserves for putting up such a charitable event. I hope at least it doesn't affect him THAT much financially.
Amazed that Connor's auction attracted more viewers than the last day of this year's Cyclathon. The last day of that event briefly hit 57,000 viewers at its peak; meanwhile the auction regularly stayed above 70,000 viewers for hours, peaking at around 77,000 viewers. Last year's auction gained no more than 20,000 viewers from what I recalled.
There were some large raids happening from people attending. I think I've seen Hasan and Ludwig, but there were probably a lot more. Also people who don't watch Connor might watch for their favourite creator so it makes sense it's larger
I’m gonna be honest, idk if I’d watch any other content creator’s charity event other than Connor’s bc of how genuine, entertaining, and well-spoken he is during these events that it legitmately makes me not want to miss even a second of his charity streams. Throughout many events he’s been such a fun and fresh speaker whether he’s hosting or interviewing others or just podcasting on TT and I appreciate how he always goes above and beyond to think of innovative ways us viewers can participate, even if it’s just a small interaction. For ex. I loved the idea of how he receives his punishments this time around through a crane game, and having us bid on sandwich ingredients was a fun and hilarious idea too. He’s so deserving of that IDF award at the end but also those awards and numbers don’t amount to the immense support he (and other creators/donators) have given Ironmouse and the IDF!
Both this event and Thankmas are like the 2 charity events that I always look forward to. It's just crazy how some content creators can bring so many people together for a good cause.
jerma is the absolute goat for tricking connor into streaming all of the freddi fish games. all in all this was an incredibly entertaining event! it's always fun to see a bunch of content creators in the same room just having a good time
@@alvinip9128 I like this comment. XD Doesn't ask why he's there, just hopes his confident aura outlasts everyone else's inability to ask why he turned up so he can leave.
i recall first watching connor as he started trash taste with the boys, he has came so far im extremely proud of him that award he got is well deserved he is the goat for a reason
I feel this, I started watching Conner when he was doing prank calls as anime characters, I was there through the cheap cosplay phase, the wish packages phase, it's like watching him grow up.
5:03:00 The US provides the most plasma because it requires two full time jobs plus selling plasma to pay for a 2 bedroom apartment in a lot of the country.
Grats Connor on another very successful charity auction. This was so much fun to watch. To all the creators, bidders that donated their time and money to help make this a success kudos as well. It is amazing to see what can be accomplished when people get together for an amazing cause.
Pete as a co-host would be a blast. Things would have definitely run smoother with a co-host as well, but hey, the scuff adds to the charm of these sorts of streams!
Am I the only one surprised by how tall the guy from UDidAThing is? I mean I've seen some of his vids but he looked normal sized in those but here in this vid when he was standing next to Connor he looked like a giant.
Bro that joke caught me way off guard especially its him saying it lmaooo Everyone in chat including Pete and Buffpup in chat collectively just lost it too
I’m so glad I got to catch this Charity Auction live after the last one! It was a blast. I, along with hopefully everyone else that got to see it, am very proud of Connor for everything he has done for the IDF!
This was an awesome event. Again. I love the Palworld animations, very cute. Also the crane-game was a funny touch. The overall vibe was very chill and wholesome, and the amount added at the end from merch sales was insane. Congrats on another succes.
I'd say the Miku Car, Jerma's seemingly custom made staff, the Malenia Prosthetic Blade, Cellbit's custom tailored and handpainted suit, the Miyazaki signed poster and Lily's art had the most effort put into them. Genuine respect for some of creators actually taking time to make high quality art pieces for the charity.
This is so beautiful and amazing to see. Lowkey cried when the director of the IDF was speaking. I love your work so, so much. It's really nice to see people who you've watched for years and admired doing amazing work and raising money for charity. Thanks for such a cool & fun event.
4:54 Jerma and Doug slapping the chairs around them as part of the louder drumroll killed me lmao they shouldn’t have let those two sit together I just know they’re gonna act up
Congratulations on another half million raised for a good cause Conner, I have been a fan a long time and I hope some day to get to meet you at an event or something, Id just like to shake the hand of someone who has given so much back to a cause like this, you joked at the end about being a hero but you really are. I hope you can keep this up for many years to come, your an inspiration and you deserve the award that theu gave you 1000%.
I think his 20k painting was more personal in theme last year, but this year they also didn't put Pewd's name in the actual item name so maybe that could have affected the value psychologically
Dude I'm genuinely so glad I watched through all of this! So happy that to see the impact you have made on the IDF and that HUMONGOUS clutch at the end! 👏Honestly wonderful and just an amazing video overall, can't wait to check out next year's!
When it started I thought this isn't going to be as good as the first one but it was actually better - this whole thing was very entertaining and they a great job collecting so much money.
a year ago I watched the charity stream and the speech fuckin' called me out. I'm sick with something at least 50% of the time and for some reason it has just never been looked into in my whole life. Finally I got things moving and it has been hard since a lot of tests came back normal, but this is helping keep me motivated to fight for answers when I go back to the doctor in a week.
i'm still young and relatively healthy, but i have dealt with a lot of sickness through my senior rescue dog who has tons of different immune conditions, specifically a type of lupus that rejects his toenails, chronic allergies, and now lymphoma. it has been very cool to learn how veterinary and human medicine mirror each other. my childhood friend received the same chemotherapy regimen that my dog is on now! (she goes, "THEY GAVE ME DOG CHEMO?" lol.) researching and raising awareness for immune conditions is so important for everybody. what a dope charity and auction!
This was amazing, I binge watched the whole thing since I missed the stream but next year I hope to watch it live and participate in some of the raffles♥️ God Bless Connor, he’s just awesome for doing this!
This was an incredible event and I can't even count the amount of times I cried during this from seeing how much love and support was being given. Thank you for making a real difference and using your platform for such amazing things. Congratulations on your award from the IDF!!! Much love!
