The Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Michael of Kent helping the Duke of Kent with his uniform really warms my heart. His wife isn’t there with him but his sister-in-law and cousin-in-law were there for him. I think that’s very sweet.
The Duchess of Kent is a wonderful lady who has done so much for sick children in hospitals now she herself is very unwell and is unable to attend a lot of events these days bless her.

My dear Uncle Jack Ridley flew Spitfires over Burma in WW2. He sported a marvellously large handlebar moustache right to the end of his life! He was a proud man!
@richard herbert Apparently there were several squadrons of Spitfires hidden away in the Burma jungle after the war. They could not get them back to England. The location was lost. There have been attempts to find them since but current politics in the region don't make things helpful.
Thank you for this in-depth extended video of the services and the arrivals of the Royal Family. It is much more enjoyable to watch the royal family members in conversation and meeting with the clergy and guests, then seated preparing for the Queen's arrival. This is very nice. We would like to see receptions and celebratory events in detail like this throughout.

The Air Force played such an integral role in securing Britain they deserve every accolade. The ladies do, indeed, look lovely. AND wouldn't it be a blast to ride in one of those small planes, if only as a passenger?!
Impressive. Didn't know that about the Prince of Wales or the rest of the Royal Family: i.e. getting their "wings" in the Royal Air Force! Knowing that and knowing they ALL could have avoided military service, altogether, I have to say ALL of them "put in their time" in a very dangerous branch of the military. Flying an aircraft and being in the military is a VERY humbling experience. Certainly raises the status, in my mind, of the Royal family in Britain. I WISH all the leaders in our country would have that kind of experience. (A Former USAF pilot).

As much as we would want, Charles will never abdicate. Also, William should be able to live a normal life as much as possible before the burden of becoming king. Charles was raised to be king, and he will be no matter what we the people say.

Strange, I think of him as the biggest loser in all the kerfuffle. He’s thrown away his heritage. For all their PR I don’t see he and Meghan working to better ordinary peoples lives in the way the working Royals do.

It looks so awkward when meghan puts her hand around harrys arm and you can see he doesn't want to do it because he knows your not supposed to yes I know people will say that's so old fashioned but that what he's told to do she should be more independent.The colour of the outfit that kate has on her really suits her liked Meghans dress but it looked more for a funeral

HRH Duchess of Sussex, needs to stop with the holding of the arms/hands of the Duke hahahahah, it was cute for the first month or so, but now its overdone. They don't really hold on to each other physically like that in the RF. I mean, I get she is still learning the ropes, with customs and protocol and all, but I just thought I'd point it out. Other than that, they are such a beautiful unit.

For me, I found the commentary intrusive and ill-timed. I hope that in future we are able to hear all the wonderful music and also te silences which are all part of the event, and have the opportunity to enoy the spectacle without the commentary. It would have been nice to hear the recessional march by the Royal Airforce Band without the commentator talking over it and re-iterating the Archbishop's sermon.
Because you brought her into this event, with comments about her "training" and finding her place, I must mention that the Duchess of Sussex is wearing black.She must have missed a lesson.
