i have few questions to ask, why there were many short Chinese dramas about abusive and manipulative husband, while wives or female partners are weak and submissive? Is this a part of their culture? Are their women, should obey and forgive their husband even he abused and treated her badly? Do they have a law against abusive husband? I did not see any cases of that in many dramas that I watched. There were also cases of husbands can get and donate blood or organs of their wives to any person they want even the wife don't like or agree. They can aborted the chid even the mother is disagree.

What no retribution for the ml. Don’t watch this. A waste of time. You will end up very disappointed.😢😢😢

While I'm totally disappointed that she got back to him I did enjoy this show. I loved how the woman found her daughter and protected her secretly. Loved when it was discovered the FL embraced her mother with no regrets. While I do like this ML I didn't like how he was a jerk. Especially towards his daughter. Even if he didn't believe she was his he wasn't righteous. She took him back so that was disaspp0oining. First if the story continued would his family treat her and little girl right? Nope. They are so greedy they would probably try to milk her and her mother dry. No real thought goes into these dramas. I mean he sees the greed a callousness in his mother and sister and ignores it. He does nothing so that makes him compliant. Give us women a break. We are all not that kind of stupid

It's the same old same old story. Bad guy beats and mistreats wife and his wife does the same when he's not around. He mistreats the kids, too. Then, all of a sudden he does a 360 and all is right with the world. I'm so tired, too, of seeing forced sex scenes in these dramas and they end up with the guy who is doing this to them and want to stay with them forever. Too many moral issues in this drama. Didn't like the ML in the beginning and still don't like him. And she's a weakling for settling for him.
