I know I’m 2 years late, but for the armored train mission at 27:00, I believe you could have moved the boulder mech to C8, shot the bug at C4 which would break the lightning chain to the train, then zap all the bugs with the lightning mech from where he is, killing the psion (spelling?). With the psion and the bug at C4 dead, you could move the hook mech up to D3 or E3 and pull the alpha mosquito on B3 towards you, preventing it from hitting the train. You still would have taken 2 grid damage from the other mosquito, but at least the train would be safe! Anyways, just wanted to share my solution for that one. Loving watching through this series and wish I had found it sooner!
I think a big thing for Blitz is being able to make or break chains, with your mechs if you have to. I like giving Boulder Mech extra health or armour in case i need an extra link
god, looking at you playing on unfair make me stress the f out, I have never play the game on hard or unfair, and I have decided that I never will, to giga brain for stupid lil me. anyway, Nice vid tho, good calculating.
I'd like to encourage you to try playing on hard. It's A LOT easier than unfair and just a bit harder than normal. I think hard is the sweet spot for difficulty
@@diegomastro5681 oh really? that got my morale up a lil hearing that. yeah, maybe some they when I'm a lil more pro at this game, coz so far I'm winning on normal, but it's often tight, so I'm just unsure is all. (also the hazardous mechs fuk me up lol, can't seem to win with it.)
@@cowcon8967 yeeah, go for it! worst thing that can happen is you lose a few runs on island 1, get tilted and go back to normal, no big deal. Pick an easy squad for thee first runs and you're set for success!
