The background vocals aren't the problem. Background vocals are still vocals which are part of acapellas. It's the residual instrumental that's the issue.
They’re also using a vocoder layered on top of the vocals. But yes there is always inevitable mic bleed, although most of what’s being heard here is significant vocal chain effects
Does anyone know the tempo speed? I am currently making a mashup for my dad on fathers day and he really likes this song but in order to do that I have to bring the instrumental tempo down to the acapella tempo and I don't know the acapella tempo so if anyone knows please let me know so that I can finish it by fathers day.
