This song brings back memories of simpler times, when my only concern was university exams. I remember hanging out with friends, epic hangovers, smocking pot and making travels with little money but a light and full heart. Pandemic and wars were just ridiculous thoughts. I did things with a light heart that deep within me I know I won't have anymore in my life. At least nostalgia is for free, and this song gives me tons of it.

My restaurant job was annoying but because of it I always had cash in my pocket. My old, beat up red truck was tried and true. The weather was hot in Florida. A time when nothing mattered and all we did was party, get sleep, we're not serious all the time. People didn't care who you were. Everything was nice. I remember being out at night playing with my friends and cousins and as the sun set we would like to watch it and one by one we would leave to go home. Even if I do die by 2022- whatever I won't care bc the early 2010s will be something I will love forever. It's something so beautiful and amazing. Literally never had a bad day. God I miss these times and every time I talk about it I start to cry. Things like Gmod, mlg, going out with friends, playing into the night. I remember going to my dad's friends parties where all the kids including myself would play all night and go in the woods playing hide and seek with flashlight all around the neighborhood. Or go to the skate place. I hope that each and every one of you had this experience of being this happy to the point that when you talk about this it makes you cry from pure memory. At least some people deserve to be this happy one in their lives. If only I could go back I'd be so happy. We had fun days go bc little did I know that 2019 would be the last year that good times would end.

I lost my big brother 3 weeks ago. One day when he was living with us, trying to rehabilitate himself, he walked up the road with a rarely seen smile across his face. Pulled out his phone and started playing this. Throughout the last 2-4 years we have had so many good memories to anything the Chainsmokers make. I have now seen them at 3 festivals and 2 personal concerts. They will always be my reason for loving music, and my reason for being who i am because they gave my brother a glimmer of happiness in his final years. Thank you guys... 2010-2019 Best era in life

I remember one of the few sweet moments I had back in highschool. It was prom night, and at about 9pm this song played during the dance and there she was: my highschool crush. She was wearing this purple gown that made her look like a purple rose, and when I thought she wouldn't even bother to look at me, I was shocked to see her offering her hand to me for a dance. I felt so shocked that I could feel my cheeks hurt from blushing so much back then. We danced at different paces, she wanted to dance happily, while I just wanted to take things slow and savor the moment, all the while I was questioning her on whether she's seriously dancing with me and she just...smiled. Her look of joy at me, with this beautiful song in such a magical moment made me feel like I was in a dream for hopeless romantics. She was such a free spirit, and deep down, I knew she deserves someone way better than me. The best gifts she ever gave me were the bright smiles and glistening eyes; These memories that I've kept even after never seeing her for years to come. Nevertheless, I was at least lucky enough to bid our farewells with one sentimental day together before we left for different colleges. Hera, wherever you are, I hope you're doing well after all these years. Even if you didn't feel the same way, I will respect your choice anyways. Miss ya. P.s. I hope you took good care of my MasterChief Action Figure. Edit: I still think of her from time to time. But I know that it's best to not interfere with each other's lives since we went our separate ways.
