The Chair by Ki. RAJANARAYANAN ( shortly known as Ki. RA. ) is story of a family which had bought a chair for the first time in their whole village. This is a translation of the author's Tamil short story Naarkali (நாற்காலி)
This story is prescribed in 12th standard Samacheer Kalvi books by Tamil Nadu state government.
