I'm already over Laurel and her confessionals like Laurel single handily made me a fan of Cara again on All Stars 4 cuz Laurel was horrible to her and she's already constantly talking bout Cara and literally said she's an anchor but also said she's scared to run against her like that makes no sense
Unconfirmed inside info from a single source: Bananas has been telling the new kids that he is probably gonna be the next host when TJ retires, in order to encourage the new era people to be in his good side and work with him. The production warned him couple of times to stop telling people that, but Bananas said that he is not doing anything wrong, he is not promising anything to anyone and it's just their own assumptions if they think they should work with Bananas in order to gain favors with him.
I don't believe it, they had an open segment where TJ, Bananas and Aneesa were openly talking about both of them taking his spot as host when he retires. If production were that against it then they wouldn't have aired that segment, it seems like someone just making up stuff.
I still think Cory´s decision was stupid. He is NOT in the VA, he pretends to be every season and on the seaosn where they are not in full numbers it can benefit him, but this is not one of those seasons. He could literally save Tori´s life and he d still be the 3rd of 4 guy on Era 3 in her priority list. And I do doubt that him putting in Avery over Amanda would significantly worsen his position (not that he can even fall much lower). And sure, maybe he thinks he is playing the long game,,,that maybe if he licks their ass for 4-5 seasons , he may just become the member, but...I am sorry to say that - no. And the worst is that by this gameplay he blocks himself from actually creating his own group, coz everyone knows he just serves the VA so nobody truly trusts him from the outsiders these days. And lets not forget Josh is IN the VA and he always fights to save Amanda, it never once ruined his position, if anything it shows peopel outside of VA that he stays loyal to HIS people, which makes him more approachable coz he does not feel locked in with 1 group. Meanwhile Cory acts like he is locked in with VA when he is not even in it. If he does continue like this I do actually think he wont ever win, coz he will usually go home mid-late game, and the few times he will by comping out if he gets to the final - there will be Jordan. So good luck beating Jordan, you never did...so I really want to know what makes Cory think he can beat that guy coz there is no evidence of that.
I'm so glad you guys said something about the decisions. I was feeling the same way! Did I miss something? Part of the episode? That was definitely my complaint. Otherwise, I loved the episode. I love The Challenge and have watched every year, except last season...lol
Never really been a Paulie fan, but kinda felt bad for him in this episode. Not really sure what he was supposed to do. The guy he was against was at least twice his size lol. Think him being gone will lower the drama which is never good as a viewer. Hall brawl is really only enjoyable when it’s two evenly matched people. The matchups tonight it was just obvious who would win
100%. I’m not sure where people got it in their head that they squashed anything. Other than briefly on Vendetta’s and Final Reckoning the two have never been friends or allies. The last time they were on a season together Cara threw him into an elimination. She also was very adamant that total madness was rigged for a banana’s win. If Theo can still be bitter about his history with Paulie. Why can’t Bananas still hold resentment toward Cara.
