i feel you man, i'm a junior in high school: the most important year for colleges academically, AND the most important year to get your name out to college scouts to look at you for possible scholarships i know exactly what you're going through

It's really hard. Balancing school w/ soccer. It's like I have to put one above the other. But I promised myself that I'd try. Years from now, even if I don't make it big, I want to be able to look back at all the hard work and extra time that I really put in & be proud, you know?

Yeah thanks man! I'm definitely going to keep trying! And I wish you (and anyone else who's really passionate about the sport) a whole lot of luck! There's so much competition, but REMEMBER: Every moment that you're not playing or practicing to get better, there's someone out there who IS getting better than you! And you want to be the best right?

It would be a dream to have a chance and just let the people show how good you are.. Just give me 1 chance and I will take all out of it!!! It's all about "How bad do you want it" and ''Practise''!!

DAMNIT! I WISH I could do that. I WISH I could be just like them. I've never been more passionate about any sport than I am for soccer. But all I am is a JV player for my high school team trying to move up and get better.....

That was during summer , now i practice everyday for 2 hours a day after school

I am just as passionate as these guys. I really wish there would be "the chance" here in united states. Does anyone know if The chance is available in canada?

i didnt make my high school team this year, but im motivated to make it to the national youth teams

Good Luck to you! I'm playing on my school team and a travel team outside of school in the off season! I hope to get signed to a college (I'm graduating soon) and then make it on to much bigger and better things! Do you know how cool it would be to just play this game for a living? I'd never be able to stop smiling if I made it!! :D

The truth is half the people saying they want to go pro won't. Because the only way to go pro is if you practice hard more than 7 hours a day.

practice on your own time and you'll improve. do some drills that require small space and just get touches on the ball in your living room

@JBWKZxo Thank you! I "play it right" and I'm from the US. SO, therefore it is soccer to me. I don't care what other people call it....as long as they have the same love for the game that I do

@Adidasoccer007 I'm a JV goalie just because our varsity goalie is a phenom. He's playing for a D1 college next year

@gangstawtf Yeah. JV means Junior Varsity. As in, you're not good enough to start with the actual big time, better players on the Varsity team, so your put at JV instead. It basically means you have potential, but you're not going to get anywhere unless you work harder.

@Adidasoccer007 Then bring a ball with you everywhere. Practice with the ball shooting, juggling, dribbling, heading for at least 3 hours a day. a minimum of 5,000 touches. If you can't dedicate yourself, you will never be like them.

its called football bease the other sport is called american football (which has almost nothing to do with feet) i love both sports but it's never called : Soccer...
