You know what “Cangcuter” means? Its from word Cangcut(Sundanese for word underpants). So when they were teenagers, every time they practice for a gig, and if there’s one personel come late to the practice session, the other personel call that person “Cangcut!”. Its like their inside joke. Since then, they become “The Cangcuters”. 😂😂 Funny story, but that’s what the lead vocal said about their band name.

Indonesian music culture is very opened. Plenty of music genre in the country since it has more than 270M human populations. Much more diverse compare to korean pop or japan pop. Needs more promotion to indo musician to become famous in world music industry.
