If it was Friday be hard to get 3 days in. The Passover that falls on the 14th of March is a holy sabbath and it involves having a lamb live with you for 4 days then it has to be killed in the hours of 3 pm and 5 . I think this would be the time God chose. They say it was a Friday I see no evidence.. in fact the feast is mention in Mark 15 as a feast where they release a prisoner Passover. Is the only time not every Friday. If you read 14 Mark it say it was coming towards a feast in Two days. When in Mark 13 says he just left the temple then went to the mount of olives where he spoke his sermon so after 2 days was the start of the feast. Biblical weekdays are sunset to sunset. As soon as the sun sets on Saturday the day is over and it becomes sunday. In other words the next day has already started as soon as its dark. In Genesis it says,, "And there was evening and there was morning the first day". And it says that for the other 5 days as well.

If Sunday starts early in the morning then you'd have to conclude that all days start from the morning including the sabbath the bible does not support this.

If you would look up Leviticus 23:3 you would see the word convocation. When looking that up you would see these meanings. "1. a large formal assembly of people. 2. the action of calling people together for a large formal assembly." It is plain that it was a day of worship. As for your theory of "Primitive Christians" could you give some kind of reference to that? They would have never kept the 1st day of the week as a Sabbath.

If you look Deuteronomy 5 it says that Yahweh made a covenant with them. The Bible translates terms like Yahweh and Elohim as God and Lord which is WRONG. The 10 commandments are not even that original. They exist in the book of the death and moreover the Jewish texts were updated and changed during the Babylonian captivity when they added the stories of Adam and Eve, the Flood, the Sabbath and so on. The Sabbath is the seal of the Mosaic covenant and if you want to keep the Sabbath you need to be circumcised otherwise you're doing it wrong. There was a Christian group that kept the Sabbath which was the Jewish Christians called Ebionites.
