You should check his behavior when at war with the player. He's passive when going up against other AIs, but I guarantee you, as soon as you declare on him, he goes into overdrive, trying to screw you over. That's what every AI does, I don't see why he would be any different.
That's dependent on the campaign difficulty my understanding is: Easy = AVOIDS the player Normal = Doesn't really bother to fight the player, equal between ai / player Hard = Starts to slightly prioritise the player Very Hard = Will go out of the way to attack the player Legendary = Main focus is attacking the player
@@Battleseyttv Fair, fair, but the conclusion of your video is that the Changeling isn't a big threat as the AI. I would suggest that the Changeling isn't a big threat UNTIL you get into a war with it.
Okay so I like playing Vlad again and again like how some people play Karl Franz all the time. Strategy seems to be after dealing with Templehof rushing for Stirland and spamming a lot of vampires around the place. You already start with two and Mad Count Mausoleum lets you get more. That should be enough to sniff out the cults and then kill the Changling to kick him out of the game for good.
I wish there was some way to get rid of the settlements, and his ai made good. They 100% tuned him down x1000 otherwise hed just conquer the entire map with cults. Maybe for every time a lord gets killed in a battle, all your cults take X damage until they get destroyed, and can only be fixed once every X turns
I am a Kairos campaign (Oracles of Tzeench), I conquered almost the whole Empire (Pfeidolrf, Altdorf, Wurtbard) and every turn the game tells me that The Changeling is raiding Wurtbard. When I click the notification, it zooms to The Changeling's location, but he is invisible because of the cults. The most interesting part is that I havent met his faction yet, even though the game tells me he is raiding me, so I cant confederate
Personally I would have been just fine if hes basically "disabled" as an AI its just annoying that hes so hard to remove. Beastmen AI isnt that hard to remove either.
me and a friend took 20 turns to get rid of malagor because he kept staying in camp mode then raze a city and go back into camp mode. it was incredibly annoying to deal with and the only reason we eventually caught him was because we were lucky.
Playing as kislev he was in the game the entire time and i could never spot him. Nor did he do anything against me. Very weird. Couldn't interact with him either
In realm of chaos chaos dwarfs some how got vial of hasput action for their deamonsmiths at around turn 70 and from there on they just spam that action to destroy my settlements. I could even see animation but luckly action doesnt work vs player. Imagine if it was working.
So the Empire campaign got even worse ? I realy hate how CA sets up the ellector counts as early game punching bags while forcing you to protect them as karl franz.
@@martinlysy i wasnt actual talking about the difficulty. I would Love more challenging campaigns. But the whole Empire system is outdated and simply annoying and unfun to Deal with and it gets worse with every Lord that is added in the area.
