We're building infrastructure to accomodate future growth such as barns, duck house, 7 coop chicken house, water hydrants, planting an orchard, building a garden etc. Chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, barn cats and two old english sheepdogs make up our team here at the farm. Yeah……pig wrangling 101! Bobby the mellow guy’s world has been turned upside down now and will miss sweet rabbit’s company for sure. Thank you for rescuing him 😊 Momma is going to be one happy camper now. I hope you can make some sales. It’s been fun watching them grow up and play around.

😮 Since there isn't as much sq foot space as your pigs woud likely want, you could get two or three round bales of straw and put it in the outside pen. The boys would tunnel in and make some nice winter nests. I know of farmers who do this, and even let the mama pigs farrow out in them, in cold areas in Canada.

Hey man it's been a minute since I've left a comment but I've been keeping up watching the videos. The next time you have to do any major concrete work get a drywall plate. The same thing you have a little handle on you pour mud on and then you can use your trowel to scrape drywall mud on the drywall with. Basically you just load up your concrete and press that plate up against the base where you want your concrete to slide, use your other trial to push it in and then use the plate and slide it upwards. You can pile more Concrete in that way or just a big wide flat concrete hand trowel

When you go to recover your back wall start in the areas that need to be patched to match the existing exterior. Mix up your concrete but make sure it's gritty like sand try to get concrete without Stone in it. Then you take and apply it by hand with gloves or your bare hands and smooth it out.. you could actually cover all the damaged areas and then go back and fix your cracks with a watered down slurry, then just use some really good exterior latex paint with primer in it or use Kilz to seal the wall and then paint it. You can do that in a week. Hope this info helps you

The real fighting will come when either of the girls come into season, they can smell it. Then there will be blood. The boys are not too big to band, but you now will need help holding them. Boars are notorious fighters and are naturally solitary. You may have to come up with a quicker plan B. Good luck. If you want to raise them as pets or even well behaved breeding pares. You have to separate them at the weaning age and separate all to individual pens, so they become dependent on you for companionship. That makes a pet. These will not be pets.

Oh yes, I find it lessens the amount they drink from the water bowls too so I don’t have to refill it later.

yes it may not always be on film but I really do. Bobby the Dad pig is a bugger though, he doesn't like it with water...seriously when I add the water every time he flips the bowl lol

I’ve explained many times, but I found a new home for him finally around new years so he’s gone now. We had a litter of rabbits and once the boys were getting frisky I put all the boys in with their fathers in his pen. Three boys died I think they fought each other so I left one there and took this guy to the pig barn to be separate. I didn’t want more rabbits so you can’t put him with the girls, they’ll have babies every 30 days. At that time the boy pig Bobby was living with Billie as they were still young but I noticed that Billie was pregnant so I needed to separate him and I put him next door with the rabbit. They got along ok, but the rabbits bit was always getting dirty I’ve was looking for a new home for him for over 6 months. Anyways that’s the quick version 😬
