It's kind of _all_ the final stretch for the last quarter of the race, but I get what you mean. Real fun stuff. A lot of the wrecks here from a farther-back spectator would be amazing to see.
Ramp cars actually don't ramp other ramp cars very well sadly, and the map would also have to be made into a transform race which would mean making the entire map again I think but maybe one day.
Our cat really doesn't do well with loud noises, and was not having a good time with how much my Dad and I were roaring with laughter constantly with this episode. Absolutely stellar. Straight Line Racing is definitely like our favorite to watch, it is without a fail just always a riotously great time. ^_^ Thank you Stinty for making such a fantastic track! Buuut, have you considered adding boost pads? >_> XD
I don't know why the Vamos wanders but the Arbiter looks like the suspension is jittering about. I always wonder if this weird handling is the intended play experience from the devs or if it's just a bad combination of things from the modeling.

I love straight line so much. Favorite racing track for GTA. Would be fascinating to see something like this for BeamNG or Wreckfest. Just the CARnage!

I think the reason you weren't climbing has to do with the choices you made in the second race. Due to simple angles, when you're on the downhill, the car is a bit higher than it is on the uphill, as the whole car is effectively a little lighter - but you made the smart decision not to be bumpdrafting the others when you were on the downhills, where the effective decrease in weight makes grip even less plentiful and spinning out a real possibility. However when you're going uphill, the car is slower and thus a bit easier to control, so it goes a little better - of course, the walls are another story entirely and who knows what else in collision models and damage and other crashes and so forth will cause. The other thing is the shape of the track, the dips and peaks mean that not only when the car is on a downhill and thus feels lighter but also on the upper part of said slope (or really up or down the hills, either way this happens) the front and back are higher off the ground, and since it'll naturally lean back when accelerating that might be enough to get it to just climb straight up and over. If you're perfectly aligned when it does, it might just wheelie very spectacularly, and either the back will dig in and you will go for a massive tumble or it'll simply slam you back down to the track with some g-forces that an astronaut would be proud of. If you're not, well... you saw that plenty of times. Still spectacular and a whole different beast to recover from or dodge. Such a simple circuit with two very chaotic features resulting from those constant shifts in altitude. Love this track! I wonder how an uphill or downhill the whole way version would go - I expect to see cars tumbling back down or ramping off the peaks, but still the increase in speed and near complete inability to control the thing on a constant shifting downhill or the increase in necessary speed and grip on a constant uphill would make it quite the battle, depending on the angle it's at.
Was in the wrong car, they chose the Ubermacht Revolter, rather than the Obey Omnis e-gt which everyone else was driving. They likely just chose to leave the race, as with it being a 2 lap race, as well as faster cars, wouldn't really work them racing in wrong car. Dangerman got lucky in the first race when he accidentally chose the Albany Hermes instead of the Imponte Arbiter GT, as the Hermes was only slightly slower/same speed as the Arbiter.
Any chance of something new coming up? I know this channel generally sticks to a similar flavor and formula for the videos, and I do enjoy that, but at the same time..
