For as messy as Gotham Knights’ story is, I see it as a case of missed potential. A tale of Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin working together to fill the shoes left behind after the death of Batman seems like a great story for a game or movie. At least you can say it’s better than the Gotham Knights tv show am I right

Worst? Superman 64, Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis, the videogame tie-in to Halle Berry's Catwoman, Batman: Dark Tomorrow. I'd even put Gotham Knights above Justice League Heroes but that's just me. While Gotham Knights is far from the best, it's not the worst. That's just being disingenuous. And Origins is not a mid game. A hill I would die on.

Batman Arkham Origins had the best boss fights in the Arkham series. Especially the boss fight with Deathstroke. Unlike how they did his boss fight in Arkham knight with tanks.

Respectfully I disagree with Arkham Origins being mid. Even though that is your opinion respectfully, I still say the game had some of the best boss fights of the whole series and had possibly the best story out of the series, too, I do agree the game isn't perfect and the gameplay could've been improved, but nevertheless, I think it's still one of the most underrated Batman games and deserves more praise as a great prequel game if you ask me

Just wanted to say, idk why people have an issue with Jason's rounds being less lethal for THIS iteration. If anything I don't know why people wouldn't expect this. This is a Jason Todd who (idk if it's like this in the comics but) is quite close to the bat family and actively talking to Bruce. Did everyone think he'd just be blasting people again while Dick, Barbara & Tim are still sacred about the no killing rule? Besides you can still at least use guns, and not like tranq darts or something so it's a reasonable compromise.

I feel bad for WB Games Montreal. Arkham Origins is a great game but people just hate it because it wasn't made by Rocksteady, if it was the first of the series, It'd be praised.

I remember watching your Web of Shadows video on loop when I had just moved to my favorite apartment in New York. If I was ever overwhelmed or anxious, your video would take a good load off and make me laugh like crazy. It was a good reminder to laugh and not take things too seriously. I was interning for Marvel and was about to meet a girl who became one of my best friends. Gotham Knights combat is just so fun. I’m 1000 hrs in and I’m still discovering more things I can do. I’ve also never experienced any bugs. My experience with GK is fantastic. I give it a 9.5 out of ten. I love watching people play the combat wrong and complain about it 😂

WB Games seemingly fumbled the ball with their big franchise games these last few years. Gotham Knights was given too little time to finish the game after they pivoted away from Live service leaving it basically like 70 to 80 percent complete and since it wasnt a Live service game they took the larger portion of the dev team away almost immediately after the game was released leaving a skeleton crew to basically just release a monthly patch for like 4 months before abandoning it entirely. Suicide Squad was forced into being a Live Service game and because of that they got priority allowing them to delay the game even more to make sure it was a more complete product before release but the Story and Live Service model left a sour taste it fans mouths, then Hogwarts legacy their most successful game in recent years. Ended up barely getting any post-launch support. No major story DLCs and with no offical Sequel announced. A skeleton crew has been performing the updates to that game for months with the only "New" Content being new customization options and releasing Side Quests on all platforms and all Houses that used to be locked to PlayStation or locked to a specific house you chose in the game. Simply put WB games had an opportunity to potentially have a great couple of years for games but due to Corporate interference they fumbled their chances at a great lineup

What I find interesting and kind of scummy is that WB Montreal didn't say Gotham Knights was connected to the Arkham games at first, but they didn't exactly say it wasn't. They definitely used the rumors and hype to their advantage, or disadvantage as the case may be.

Origins has the best story in the arkham series imo. City doesn’t even have a great story, it’s just a showcase of Batman’s rogues, people glaze it like no tomorrow because of the Joker twist.

I am a fan of both batman and spider man, also I've been getting into the arkham trilogy with the arkham collection which enhances my experience, I have to admit. The graphics on arkham knight might actually been on par if not better then spider man 2's graphics

Am I the only one who actually liked the Gotham knights game… I really honestly enjoyed the story and the heroic assaults tbh and it being the only game where I can actually play in free roam as nightwing which is honestly my favorite character and better than batman story wise IN MY OPINION (don’t attack me you goblins who try to pick fights just cause you don’t get your way). The issue is everyone tries to make it a Arkham game when it’s clearly not… it’s less grim and dark and honestly a good take on the Batfamily in general. Kinda like how some people like comparing spiderman for ps4 which 98% think fondly of and an old school spiderman game that people also like. They may have the same character but they aren’t the same but people still enjoy it.

I love Arkham Origins. It has some of the best boss fights in the series and the story is interesting and the gameplay is so fun! Now its not as good as City or Knight but its still really good

Personally. I think Origin's strongest point over all the rest of the arkham games is just one thing. The boss fights. Origins has plenty and vaired boss fights that are all fun and unique from eachotheer. Everyone talks about the mr freeze boss fight and it IS the best in the series. But Arkham city really deosn't have that many boss fights and even clayface's isn't that good in the long run. But Oriigns? Deathstroke. Deadshot. Bane, Killer Croc, Copperhead. ALL great boss fights that feel very diffrent to eachother and requite diffrent stratages to win. Rocksteady always struggled past Mr Freeze to make a good boss fight. But Oirigns pulled off mulitple really good ones.

Honestly, I didn't mind Gotham Knights. I played through it and had a decent time. Going to replay it? Nah. One of my top games? Nah. But it was a decent time, especially since I got it second hand and didn't pay full price.
