yeah honestly I really miss it compared to chapter 5, I only started in late chapter 4 season 4 and was able to play for only like 3 days and then it went to og fortnite.

This map is so good bc it was designed for zero build. There’s so much height variation and there’s much more thought put into how everything is laid out, not to mention it’s the most cohesive map visually we’ve had. People just won’t settle for anything
But also my two favorite chapters we're chapter 1 and 2 combined they had the most pois and more overpowered weapons and add some cool vehicles I remember how you could destroy the UFOs what the helicopter
The map did not suck, at least we didn't have the vehicle clamps and charge smg or bosses that was literally one tap and thats the reason why bosses literally has 9 million health or somthing
@@LolalslslslFrom my POV: C1: isn't my fav cause I couldn't swim, no beaches, and terrain was not good. C2: best map from my POV, as the island was actually functional, had beaches, smooth terrain for driving, buildings made of Nokia, medieval ruins, and lots of water to make the boats useful, I only wish there was a desert. C3: while I may not like its later seasons too much, the map was pretty good, I do have a few probs tho 1. No medieval ruins but instead Mayan n Aztec 2. Snow era felt a bit too big 3. After the chrome did its thing, it just... didn't feel fun, don't know how to explain it C4: can't quite rate it yet but so far, Not the best terrain, can't find boats, neo area is fine, my home got ruined by a fish, snow area only has 1 location now, no desert, and sharks are gone
@@ADMICKEYswimming isn’t very nessecary, I think chapter 1 is the best because it’s a simple game and you don’t have to memorize what like 70 different gun types do, first bit of chapter 2 was good though
i hope that happens in Chapter 6. some POI‘s like Tilted, Flush, Snobby shores from chapter 1 or some pois from chapter 2,3,4 & 5 like Holly hedges, Chonkers Speedway, Slappy shores or pleasant piazza from chapter 5
Remember the Midas season, IO, Ghost v shadow, Sloan, Bytes, The Nothing, The Seven, Herald, Klombo, etc + all the hype for Cattis monster/devourer? all gone What we all thought we get after the dumbest event ever, was at least a good map - bigger and a mix of ch1, 2 and 3. We got the ugliest boring dull scrap map ever with 0 character, little to noy POIs, unoriginal bioms etc. WTF Epic?

Greetings from season 4! Chapter 4: Season 4, Last Resort is just like the top secret season! Bringing back tons of old mythics, and adding 3 beautiful new Poi’s, Eclipsed estate, Relentless Retreat, and Sanguine Suites.
I miss the old fortnite simply because it was actually fun when u had to use ur surroundings to get kills etc and not with builds, they should bring back where you can’t hold down left click to build and remove that stupid run and climb thing, also I think the game got bad when they started making too many items like mythic sand exotic, it should be a rotating Loot pool say there is 20-30 unique items of several rarities but there is hundreds they have hidden away they can switch them up and every few weeks so that it’s always a unique playing field and not just abusing whatever is the strongest weapon

theres a competitive mode no? also i dont mind the competitive aspect? in my comment i complained about loot pool and new features, the only competitive aspect i dont enjoy is the amount you can build, i wish it was played how it was intended, such as building a base etc instead of just keyboard warriors doing 90s. Also i would love to see a return of skill based match making without AIS as well as a smaller map@@WesternWaster-2299
It’s prob cuz of zero build idk if that’s something to do with less locations but I agree. Hope chapter 5 is god teir cuz we really need an amazing Christmas season to keep the game growing
@@Phxxntom Season 1 was awesome, amazing new map, season 2 was really fun, Mega City was amazing. Season 3 was outstanding, the jungle and the Apparatus was amazing, season 4 was so fun and Kado Thorne is awesome, season OG is the only bad chapter 4 season
In the fracture event, the map that was created during the event was leftovers from chapter 3 which means it was supposed to be half of the chapter 3 map as the new map for chapter 4
Smaller maps means more chance to coke across people, less chests mean less places to go so more early game confrontations, also just play zero build if your bothered about metal, also brick and wood exist
Man, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 were GOLD. They had so much content, lore, weapons, EVERYTHING. Chapter 3 started off promising, but once season 3 came out, it became absolutely garbage. And it ended way too soon, so it just seemed pointless in the end. Chapter 4 is just even worse.
agree, i don't what is it but i dont like change in chapter 4's style compared to other chapters(map,graphics) and so far i played ch4 THE LEAST of all 4 chapters beacuse all seasons including ch4s3 are so fucking boring especially ch4s3 is litearlly chapter 2 season 6 2.0 and jungle part of the map is awful.i hope chapter 5 gets that fun and good fortnite vibe/style because current and until now ch4 map gives too much old/primal/wild/ancient vibes and that just doesnt fit for me in fortnite
@Cyclonetic How? The map is tiny, we had no events and the only interesting thing was season 4 a bit. While Chapter 3 Season 1 was top teir, so was season 2. The only sort of bad season was season 3 because it had no updates throughout the update. I played Chapter 1 and its good but im not gonna pick it just because its nostalgic.
I definitely agreed with most of you point during chapter 4 season 1, but it's definitely gotten better in S3, and so far S4 looks like it'll be insane. Honestly the chapter beats anything after C2 S4.
Chapter 1 and 2 were brilliant, End event, Midas, water world, primal, aliens/cubes etc. Chapter 3 had huge story progress only to completely trash in at the end. no Midas, the 7, IO, Sloan, Nothing, Bytes, Herald got efed in 10 seconds. Epic Fail!!! But Chapter 4s biggest issue and FAIL is the map and graphics. This is so bad, me and friends don't even play anymore cause its sooo boring. Lightning and the sky is so bad for my eyes too. No blue sky, just some random colors + space dark. Bioms suck too, just random little to no POIs, smaller map too. all in all its soooooo boring and ugly to look at. Fortnite isnt fortnite anymore
This was the simplest map of the chapter I think the updates over time had good and negative effects on how the load terrain flows. Over the seasons the map in how it feels to play has gotten worse Also I don’t care about comp but this map did have basically a total of 6 metal in its entirety
No as a zero build player I say it’s great and fun with fun weapons like the hammer Excalibur and smash plus augments I say it’s one of the best but that’s my opinion

I cant believe im saying this but last season was sm better then OG Fortnite crap Look I'm very happy they brought it back cause I started back in ssn5 but I never remember the AR, or Famos being ABSOLUTE GARBAGE when you aim when your shooting RIGHT directly at them and the fire spread is just so awful or even when you're shots go off and they don't even hit when there's clear footage and then u get knocked alrdy miss last ssn sm alrdy with the twin mag and the smgs those were actually fun to use. Dog water ssn with guns that shoot ghost marks oh and heals? Never heard of her rarest thing to get 😐😐😐
they litearlly made chapter 2 season 6 2.0 and made it bad AGAIN😂all maps and seasons so far in chapter 4 are just fucking boring.and jungle part in this season is just awful. and even before ch4s3 chapter 4 map gave way too much old/primal/wilds/ancient vibes which i just dont like in fortnite,hopefully chapter 5 gives us what makes fortnite fun
