the Only WAY i Know .... Yeah funny as F*@k presenter ... i read about this in Jon Robb's book 'We are Rock' ... followed the band from Staff Polytechnic and then bought "the Only ONE i Know" on single 2 days before my 19th Birthday on it's release ... book was so entertaining and Heartbreaking too !!! ... Obvs still a Fan, ... being an overweight middle aged fart now ... Good Times back in the day ... saw them live once at Poly before the 'Some Friendly' tour, then me and me mate went to Newcastle Mayfair (Now a F@*kin shite bar - not a Venue for Live Music) ... and we were blown away! Again at Newcastle City Hall, then Leicester De Montfort Hall, ... still the best band i have seen.

hi, can you reproduce that organ sound on a modern keyboard using computer software as an engine? or does anyone know of a cheap way of getting that organ sound: or is there none? basically what would I have to buy in 2022 to get that sound. I am not a keyboard player but would love that sound in the band I am in. Thanks
@derekbaker3279
@derekbaker3279 Год назад
Well after the fact, but the answer is 'yes'. There are a number of VSTs out there that can do the job. If the organ parts are mixed in with other instruments, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference, so you can easily add that sound to your band. Since the software market is constantly evolving & sound quality/realism is always improving, I won't give you any recommendations. Best of luck. Cheers!

You can tell this song was about Jimmy Saville. These boys were so brave to be fighting against him all those years before he was found out. First lines are “He’s never wrong, the victims have no rights”. Obviously about the cover up being perpetrated at the highest levels. I love this and All Together Now (about Saville and the Haut De La Garenne).

@blueznjazz123
@blueznjazz123 6 лет назад
I'm not accusing you of this, but it's relevant....The idea that criminals, the homeless, and other 'outcasts' from society are unintelligent and/or untalented and/or lazy is one of the worst freakin' myths that some segments of the population & many politicians like to promote, but it's utter b.s.. Good people can end up in difficult circumstances & get involved with the wrong people/live a life of crime. And, some of the most 'successful' people in society have climbed the political/corporate ladder because they are psychopathic personalities who don't hesitate to use people for their own profit.

No way, Between 10th and 11th anf Up to Our Hips are unbelievable albums with unbelievable musicianship, enigmatic songwriting that paved the way for what followed. They should rightly be held up there with the best of British bands. Criminal that although they have a loyal global following they're not held in the same regard as the likes of Oasis. Ridiculous.
