They spent hours creating a full report just to tell people how much they don't care about the Chasers? Mission accomplished, they've got me convinced.
@@lauramcclure2562 Almost every time they "Broke the law" it was nothing more than a joke, to prove how shit the laws were, meanwhile Today Tonight just trespasses on average peoples property because they lived on the street of whoever was the neighbour of their latest sensationalised story
You wanna know the funniest part of this whole video. TT got in trouble for this video because if you see in the background on the whiteboards in the background has the names and numbers of people that at the time worked at channel 7 and when they broadcast this as you can see they didn't blur that info. and as you would expect some chaser fans saw this an took to calling all the people who's numbers they could see making prank calls. So in the end the chaser still won.
So funny that 'Today Tonight' has aired there own misunderstandings of how the law is interpreted. The crew from 'Today Tonight' stated that because they snuck in the back door that the 'Chasers' were Quote "Trespassing". The law in Australia is "UN-lawfully on premises" and was only upgraded to "Trespass" when and if asked to leave then refuse to do so within a reasonable time frame. I learned a lot in my Security Guarding course.
Ironically, Brian doesn't seem to know the trespass law. It isn't trespass to walk in unless they tell you to leave and you don't. No charges against the Chaser came from this, though they were able to have an injunction against the footage being aired. Today Tonight know they wrong a lot of people with their sensationalism and are used to be sued many times a year. It's worth noting that it has been cancelled in three states and replaced with a news bulletin. They tried to do a beat up about me which is on my channel.
The Chaser should leave Today Tonight alone so they can get back to vilifying the working middle class whilst ignoring the atrocities being committed in theocratic nations. How dare they display a sense of humour towards these ethical, fact checking people who can barely afford to pay for their private yachts.
Lol yea that today tonight bunch aren't doing themselves many favors by airing this... That dude in the white shirt made himself look like a bully getting physical and all that, Australians love pranksters like the Chasers crew... he should talk to his lawyers, you can't start touching people even if they come onto your property... just call the police if you're that upset, else they're going to nail you for assault... "On 3 February 2014, the Seven Network announced that Today Tonight would be axed in favour of a one hour Seven News bulletin."
Im not sure who lacked the most credibility here, today tonight for all the garbage stories they label news or the Chaser for giving them enough credit to deem them worth breaking the law to make fun of them.
So TT, in an attempt to ridicule the Chaser, used footage they recorded of themselves wasting their own time arguing about the legalities and seizure of the Chaser crew's footage, then aired a segment on how the chaser attempted to waste TTs time, wasting their own TV airtime slot? Staggering victory if you completely defy logic. Include logic again though: every minute the TT crew spent being distracted by the Chaser crew's ambush was a minute less the TT team had available to waste on fabricating their trademark over-sensationalized, over-dramatized, heavily-biased and ultimately pointless gutter-trash journalism. If TVs in Australia were to have anuses, TT would be the most fitting candidate to represent the living-room-floor-staining shit that would be excreted from it.
brian seymor got owned. pushy brian seymor hahah waste his time, go chas and Andrew. argue and argue the point as well be a smart ass to him. and its true channle 7 do go on properties and stick cameras in peoples faces in bad circumstances ie bushfires. channle 9 does the same thing. legally. I walk into my neighbours yard. we get on thats not tresspassing. I walk on abandon railway lines wow whats brian seymor gonna do.
I love how Andrew Hansen, throughout the whole argument, is just cleaning and checking his glasses. It's as if he knows Today Tonight can't touch him and he's just playing along.
Good on them (Channel 7), all of a sudden when The Chaser's "break-in" doesn't work it's "call the lawyers...call the lawyers", and if it gives Today Tonight nice ammunition to have a go at The Chaser that's just too bad! And there's a big difference when you come in through a Security Door / back entrance compared to the front door / reception! It's trespass pure and simple, and it's in the "eye of the beholder", if the Channel 7 employees perceive it as trespass it is, it's not what The Chaser thinks! (The persons doing the trespass don't decide). Yes I know various "current affairs" shows rely on sensationalist tactics (ambushing people) but it's usually in public places / in the streets or the "front door", how would The Chaser feel if a Today Tonight (or any other Channel / show) camera crew sneaked into the ABC TV studios in Ultimo (through a security door out the back after waiting for someone to leave) and "ambushed" them in their workplace, would they be okay with it! In the end, "what goes around comes around".
Chasers trespassed...... 😂 That sets the tone perfectly.... Today Tonights viewers, thats outrageous, disgusting, its shocking, mild heart attack ensues.
Haha. I love Licciardello. Hanson is right up there too. "They frantically called their lawyers" Seems like Andrew is pretty calm on the phone. Haha. This situation did not get these lads hearts ticking a few beats faster at all. Zero pressure and I love it!
