I don't think these kids realize how many old school punk rockers they're waking-up. It's been a long time since I've heard a band like this... and I mean a very, very long time.
They know, our generation grew up with access to music from any generation all at our finger tips, so we are aware when cool sound from the past has kind of died out. They 100% knew what they were doing when putting out these songs, they're bringing it back
@@GiveSic mostly turned into folk. Which isn't bad, but the left have stolen anarchism. Us old punks just wanna be left alone with our guns drugs and babies
Almost 50 years since the city birthed The Saints and these guys are now carrying the torch with that trademark stripped-back Brisbane sound. Bravo, lads, top fuckin work!
I'm seeing them live when they support guns and roses. Wonder if their energy will fit the stadium show. Will be interesting to see. Will be an awsome show The Chats, Cosmic Psychos and Gunners gonna be epic....
I have not been drunk in every pub in istanbul because i cant afford to buy enough beer because turkish lira is falling. Great band, respect from turkey, drink for me too 🍻
Over the years I've been to brizzy a few times touring with bands as a tech Road crew and Fortitude valley always gets me in the lockup for drinking that was in the 90's
@@peterhoare3219 Viagra Boys has a much wider creative range to consider them a punk band - they're punk inspired, but also indie rock, country, krautrock, Japanese folk - they even have an experimental electronica side project under the name "SHRIMPTECH ECSTACY LAB". Amazingly talented and unique band for sure.
This just came up randomly on my feed and my god this is the rawest, purest punk music I've heard in a long time and I fucking love it. Great work dudes!
@@paulone-off7286 😂😂 Bit further trip than a bus/train/bus to get to, huh. Enjoying the weather? We've had a particularly vicious winter down under in Queensland. Christ, it's gotten down to below 10 degrees some nights 😱 Oh wait. You're in your summer. Must be peaking at a sweaty 21 😂 Just ribbing ya, ya pommy bastard. Come back any time, mate!
I'm not Australian, but I have learned about the Bunnings thing. I think the concept of a slice of bread with a sausage in it lends itself beautifully as a metaphor for the physical act of lovemaking, and thus a beautiful love song. But what about the onions??, maybe they are cupids arrow. It's this kind of thing which I think you guys could pull off really well (no pun intended). Cool song btw. :)
The Bunnings thing, is to entice dunder head wife beating yob home renovators (the national sport) to splash the cash Oddly, we do the slice of bread and sausage thing at our compulsory elections!!! TRUE!!!! I live here!
@@peterhoare3219 Having spent a good few seconds considering potential situations that WOULDN'T benefit from the presence of a sausage and onions in bread.... I have drawn a blank... Good Work Australia!! :)
@@danaveye3977 Plus you sling them $100 and they fuck off. Cheaper than buying a girl a meal, drinks and taxi, and you're on a SURE thing... I love hookers. No complications. My GF has an issue with my history with them 🙄 And I'm 58. She's 38 🙂
nah, there's no way it takes that long to sink a few on a pub crawl, you can do a whole capital city in Australia in one weekend, that's how it's done here!!🍺🍺🍺👍🏻
@@gothbunnyart Thanks mate! You know Australia has the biggest population of Italians, well outside Italy. Or some stat like that. Maybe its highest proportion in Melbourne outside Athens? Australia was FOUNDED on immigrants. Urgh. I screwed up whom responding to. But yeah, love The Valley. GREAT Doc Martin shop near The Wickham. One of the oldest still operating shops in Brisbane.
