I love these lyrics because i used to think of chattering lack of common sense as the original, so in comparison this feels like the more unhinged version and i live for it.
logically, these lyrics make more sense on their own (they're more complete ideas and less abstract) but since i'm so used to the new lyrics this is so disoreinting
Yeah, these are original complete ideas from Ghost's idea of two characters named Say and Arc. I don't know what the Latin lyrics purpose in this song but not hearing them in the "Revamp" is really disorientating!
i prefer the new version but honestly the instrumentals are kinda better here IMO. except they sounds a bit empty compared to the new one. But otherwise, I prefer it bcs it sounds more high pitched and idk just feels more fitting. I love both versions tho
I went to check the wiki for chattering lack of common sense and saw this and wanted to try it out. It sounds a little emptier than the current version but I think the lyrics were better
GHOST already uploaded this video on their channel! It's unlisted, but linked in the description of 'Chattering Lack of Common Sense'. If I understand correctly, they only wanted it uploaded for comparison, though I can't speak for them. I know it's more convenient to post it here but I'm just trying to let you know, however you want to respond
is this how it feels when a song is in a non-english language that you know fluently and someone does a poorly translated english cover that sounds nothing like the original lyrics? cuz that's the vibes I'm getting from this Idk I'm just used to the other version
Hey mom! Can we get chattering lack of common sense?? Mom: we have the chattering lack of common sense at home The chattering lack of common sense at home:
Ghost: the chattering of teeth and lack of common sense!! Arc: the chattering lack of no eyes and fluffy hair!!! Say: the chattering lack of hurt legs and fabulous style!, Everyone else: THE CHATTERING LACK OF COMMON KNEE CAPS EDIT: HELP TY FOR 30 LIKES THIS IS THE MOST IVE HAD TY SM
the entire latin section but its google translate with probable typo's : I would lose myself in giddily giddy laughter. to prepare to be sharpened by running selfishly. smile always I laugh selfishly. I would lose myself in giddily giddy laughter.
This song, and Carnes both have the character Say, and both have Latin segments, but I am unable to tell if they have any story relations to each other. Anybody have a clue what this has to do with Carnes?
This one isn't gone you can click a link in the description of chatting lack of common sense and you will be brought to an unlisted video just named "cursed"
