No thanks. I'll rather buy a used tundra v8 with 100k miles for 40k than a new tundra for 55k. I just dont want to take a chance on my engine falling

I’m with him. I’ve heard enough on the Internet with all the issues with the 3.4 V6 turbo going all the way back to 2018 with Lexus, and I’ve actually got a neighbor two doors down that’s having issues with his tundra and I wouldn’t touch a new Toyota with a 10 foot pole.

@bobbyb.1743 Месяц назад
I will say, the 3.4l V6 twin-turbo in my ‘20 LS 500 F-Sport has been flawless and I’ve pushed it at higher speeds for sustained periods of time on Interstate trips! Realize that engine was assembled in Tahara Japan factory, but can’t be that different from its Texas built Tundra cousin! I don’t doubt Tundra’s engine & trans, it’s the fit & finish and lack of quality cabin materials (QDR) that leave me in doubt.😬

@@bobbyb.1743 Sorry to hear about yours getting totaled. My parents bought it brand new in late 2005, and I bought it from them in 2018 when they were ready to downsize their vehicle. The lower prices and more inventory proves that they had too many people running out paying the over price of these trucks. It's why you let the 'pawns' go first. LOL! Case in point, I live here in Texas where the the Tundras are manufactured and there's no Capstones available to purchase in the whole Gulf Coast States. Why? Because no one was buying them! I've said it before....these trucks are legitimately about $10K (if not a little more) too high. I bet the pricing will definitely go down as the 2024 model year closes out or at least continue to offer special low interest financing. Bottom line is that as long as we keep overpaying for them, the prices will remain high. There are deals to be had....you just have to be patient like I am.

But if you really want the new one i would prob get non hybrid i would personally get the last year 2024 ram with the hemi over this tundra, i would even buy chev or ford with v8 over the new tundra
