DragonPro has some 1400mAh 11.1v 25C batteries that are 15x15x185 and fit all AKs (gas tubes) I've had, so they sit snug in there and give enough juice for hungry builds.
Did you just took the metal mock gas tube metal rod thingy out of your cyma ak or you had to shave some plastic/metal off the body of the cyma ak for it to for the bigger stick battery? I'm thinking about doing this kind mod to fit a battery that is bigger than the normal small nymh, or I can straight up buy a smaller low voltage lipo that actually fits where the regular stick battery goes for this cyma ak?

@@neemyn407 185mm should fit over the gearbox. If it goes inside the gas tube is just convenient. Else, you'll need more precise cable management.
My UAR is set up with a 12:1, 16 tpa motor, and a good size 11.1v battery. All of which is entirely overkill for the DMR-esque setup I built it as. I have my warfet limited to 80% voltage because it was firing faster than my G&P mags would feed into it, and it is an absolutely terrible platform to do this on. Thing is quiet as all getout, though. You hear it all because it's right next to your ear, but everyone at the field is always surprised by how little noise you get from the front.
Lol I have a cyma ak with a perun v3, warhead motor, and dsg. Why do I feel like you're referring to me? But the tsg was a fun build. I agree that it really isnt much better than a dsg, it's more for a personal challenge and bragging rights. The biggest issue you'll probably get is the tappet plates tend to wear from the sector cams of the tsg itself. Keep it up man, I love seeing ak builds!
17:20 Totally agree on 13:1 vs DSG trigger response, 28 or 22 TPA or even with lower TPA motors with precock on 13:1 you can get almost instant, just the cycle sound is the difference at that point DSGs built right have that certain sound And you bastard, TSG 7.4 Li ion build (of course tested on 11.1 too, i'm no coward) was in my books just to challenge myself and see how efficient I could get, was gonna do it in the EF UMP, tiny battery space- until I discovered that microswitch lol. You're readin my mind with the crazy ideas! ( I'm still gonna do it lol ) I'm curious if you went with the original TSG gear by maker or the enhanced one by BRRT, It has some improvements on the teeth apparently TSG volume is very limited so that spring is gonna have to be nuts, 13:1 base?! You mad man
Plus when hooked to a sling it keeps the chaging handle from digging in your side. Tube stocks are a lil more comfy and the war (saw length) works great for shorter people like myself.
in regards to the 250fps issue have you tried to Teflon tape the piston head grove for the O-ring normally a few ties around just below the port holes will increase the ring expansion quicker for optimal volume just a thought fyi love the vids
“People never tell you the problems they came across on the internet” amen 🙏 that and the online post will come bragging before more than 100 rounds has gone through the gun. Had to cover my ears at the start fyi maybe a disclaimer for the faint of heart.
I really would like to hear your thoughts and info on E&C. I cannot find anything about them for certain. Ie I just a bought a ec-311 from redwolf. Priced at $220 USD with the 1.5 gear box , 350 listed fps. I then sort by price again after I've already ordered this gun and I see the same one listed at $180 , has 380 fps and the 2.0 gearbox.. looking through price listing all the cheapest models of E&C have the 2.0 gear box. Does this mean the 1.5 is lower fps but more durable and responsive or do they have then listed at a higher proce because ? I have no clue.
