I am watching from Connecticut just come across your video .glad you are highlighting Mandeville market.i am from Manchester.mandeville is my town .I went to school Mandeville work at the hospital before migrating .Mandeville market has always been very clean.mandeville was one of the cleanest town especially when the late mayor Cecil Charlton was alive and in charge .
When my fiancee used to say she's tired because she went into town, i now know what she means. I enjoyed the difference in culture there, pretty much EVERYTHING. I've been to Mandeville 3 times in a year. Ready to visit again. My fiancee is here in the states now. RESPECT✊🏾

I don't know if its the cheapest country market, as a Kingstonian I will agree it is very clean and I always enjoy shopping there! Only thing I hate about Mandeville is the hoggish loadermen!!
@jamaica_uncut, did the people at Mandeville Market seem warier of being recorded than Jamaicans in other markets that you’ve visited? I haven’t reached midway in the video yet, but I was struck by how many people challenged you about permission to record them, about showing their faces, etc. I think I even heard one person speak of being paid. Did you feel a tiny bit less welcome in this particular place? Or was it just as usual, from your perspective?
That a good observation. Think it's the same all across the island. you just have to know how to move as you travel around. if you don't play into the negative few you will be fine
